Alexa App Setup & Guide for PC

Be aware: This is NOT the correct ALEXA APP! It looks legit, but it is not. To set up alexa, I downloaded dwnload. I couldn't get connected and was told to contact support @ the number provided. They are private alexa Cust, I was told when I phoned them. Supp. I would have to pay extra for Amazon's help. He HUNG UP on me when I asked him. He also didn't know English very well. To find the correct one, search for Alexa App. It is a light blue icon with a white border. There is no microphone. I hope this helps!

I would give this 0 stars. It said during set-up that oops .... support was available. I was told by the guy, who couldn't understand English well that it would need to be fixed by a technician. The cost would be $75. He hung up when I tried to ask him a question.

It took me a whole week to get connected to the new modem. It worked perfectly with my old modem. It now tells me that I need to speak to someone and then keeps trying to sell me an expensive firewall worth 100.00. It's obvious that we will not be using it.

This is a complete scam. It requires wifi in order to setup Alexa. I called the help line to speak with an assistant. The person spoke English and wanted to know more .... or the 85.00 USD fee to install Alexa ....smh

Although it seemed like the app was identical to one I had used previously, it wasn't. I reached out to customer service. The customer support number sounded phony so I ended up hanging up.

I tried to use this app for setting up my Alexa Echo but it was not working. App directed me to contact customer support for assistance. I was unable to understand the gentleman who answered my call. He kept telling me my computer didn't have any protection. It would be $100 to get my Alexa connected and protection for my computer. He said that he would charge $100 to protect my computer and connect it with Alexa, and I asked him for more details.

The alexa was purchased, then I called customer service to inquire about the purchase of something. They told me that it needed something in order to work. Just like i had thought. I call it bait-and-switch !!!!!! !

This APP IS A SCAM! It is a scam app! You are directed to customer service and they will tell you that there's a problem.

Avoid using. They tried to get my computer password, but I was able to log out before they could do that. Amazon alexa worked fine and I was able to log on.

Total Scam! This APP IS A SCAM! ALEXA WILL NOT CONNECT WITH YOU. IT WILL FAIL TO CONNECT. They will then demand 100 bucks for protection. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!!!! !

It's funny to see how many of the legit reviews here are negative, while the positive ones come from people who cannot spell or have strange last names. You should check out my echo dots after the 12-gauge slug hit them!

I downloaded ~~~~ Hope it works. Otherwise, I will need to search for one that does work or none at all !!!!!! The download didn't work.

Scam ..... Don't dial the number... They will try to sell you a very expensive virus cleaning that they claim has caused alexa congestion problems.

They are going to be charged if you call them. Then you hang up and they leave.
