Amazon Photos for PC

It's not terrible, but the app would run better on every platform. There seems to always be some delay in accessing photos or videos via the Amazon TV app. It's a nice feature to be able to access all of your Amazon devices with a display. Although "Daily Memories", is a neat feature, it does not always display photos from the exact day or the month.

It works well, but it does strange things. Shows doubles. It's because you cannot turn off the annoying feature. When I go to my cloud photos, I do not want my phone pictures. These photos should be separated, not duplicated. This is a very annoying feature and a bit too shortsighted. Please show me only my cloud photos.

It took me a while to get this setup working. First, you cannot change your view or organize your photos. I tried clicking on some pictures to place in folders but they didn't go to my folders. You can't change tab order, or transfer pictures to a new device. This service is useless. I am Prime.

If you want to backup old photos, the app can be used as a backup. The idea of random photos from the app showing up on my TV if I'm not watching it for long periods of time is something that doesn't appeal to me. Because some photos I have are private, it's difficult to get them off my TV. The app can also change the name of the person in photos. Sometimes, I can save photos and videos. It can be a little frustrating.

It refreshes my screen constantly, bringing me back to top. The screen can only be sorted by date. There is no way to choose whether you want to sort by file name or album. My photos often have no thumbnails, but a broken symbol instead. Most of them will still load when I tap on them. The app mixes photos from your phone with those in the cloud. There is no way to filter or exclusion one. The app shows only a small portion of images I have uploaded. However, you can see the rest in the web version.

Amazon Photos is an amazing App! It is very user-friendly and allows you to organize your photos in albums. Amazon Photos does not have a photo editor. Google Photos has this option. You can also print your photos from Amazon Photos. We don't wish to print the photos from our printers. Amazon Photos should have these features in order to be the best.

It's good, but it can be annoying to deal with the old photos at the bottom. You can delete one, and it will bring you back up to the top. However, you need to find where you are. Slow Android app. Some black screens. Uploading via my phone from a wifi connection slows down internet access in the house, making streaming impossible.

Update. Update. To stop it, I must force-stop the app. Amazon Photos is the cause of my problem, according to my phone. It doesn't seem to work. Amazing! It's amazing to be able to order, store, share, and have prints shipped right to your doorstep! It's amazing!

This cannot be used to backup photos from my Galaxy Fold 3 in 100%. T-Mobile Home Internet is what I use to back up my Galaxy Fold photos. However, the app believes that I am connected to a wireless network and will not upload any photos. Setting up cellular data to "auto-upload", doesn't work. It still doesn't work. I can browse my photos already stored, just upload never starts.

Uploading and deleting photos is not possible. Everything is synced to your phone and deleted photos will also be removed from the app. All photos are automatically synced to the app. The customer support doesn't attempt to solve the problem.

It was a mixed experience. While I like that Amazon can back up all my photos, the interface to search for particular photos is poor. It would be great to search for files using optional wildcard characters, like Windows Explorer. The Prime Photo interface, however, is quite basic.

Terrible. Good luck deleting anything. You can select several and then say, "Delete x amount of phtotos forever". It also glitches constantly. You can click on things, but nothing happens. It's a complete disappointment. Although the Amazon app is great, this app has to be the worst for photo editing. It is a waste of effort and time to try to use.

Because it offers unlimited storage, this product gets two stars. The ability to save the photos is not reliable. It will not upload photos if you have run out of space. Recently, when I try to find the saved videos nothing shows up. There are a lot of app glitches. A facial recognition feature would make it easier to find specific photos, like Google Photos. The device can also store memories up to a certain date, which is nice. It's nice to be able to see photos from my TV using the alexa device.

Once upon a while, I would have given this app a higher rating, but it's been an issue for the last few months. App makers claim that users can save videos and photos to the app instead of having them stored on their phones or tablets. This frees up storage space. This is not true unless you sync the app and download the material. Then, I need to unsync the file, repeat the process, etc. Even then, it's not guaranteed that the photos will save.

Amazon's photo app is very user-friendly. It has excellent editing tools. You can also categorize the photos to find exactly what you are looking for. One thing I dislike is the fact that once you have added a photo to a category it places them at the bottom of the list instead. It doesn't make sense, and I must flip through my entire file in order to find the most recent additions.
