ASICAP App For Windows

ASI294 for a OnePlus 8. ASI294 on a OnePlus 8. Also, the app will create 0byte files which renders its video function inoperable. The app does not have an intervalometer function so a functioning video function is required to take multiple images at once. Android's *nix-based architecture means that many of the ASIAir Pro's imaging functions could be portable to work with higher end smartphones. This is especially important considering that higher-end phones have far greater power than the Pro. The app is not working, hasn't been updated for some time and was my only reason to purchase a ZWO camera. I have given it one star.

Image breaks down in preview or recording. Rec time must be limited to 15 seconds. Any longer than that and the app will delete it. The video won't be recognised by any player or on the pc. Unreliable and unstable. Is there something missing? It can be used on the S6 edge+ with OTG cable. The camera model is asi462. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

This app worked well with my old Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (with a USB2 OTG) It wouldn't work on my S8 smartphone, even with the USB 2 to 3 adaptor. This app is not something I'll use besides to show my grandkids the stars.

It's a great idea to collect data from your phone, but it freezes after about ten minutes of using the asi120mm micro. Everytime! You have to plug it out and then restart. It is very annoying. It works fine on the PC, however. I will update my review if the developers fix this issue.

This app is very useful for quick testing of your camera using different lenses/scopes without having to open your computer. If you need to acquire, it will work well. Highly recommended. The support team responds quickly and can troubleshoot bugs.

It's a great idea. It could use some work. SD as destination doesn't work. Even a brief user guide would be helpful. The app does not function with the usb 3.0 cable on Samsung Tab S4. You will need a usb 2. cable in order to get it to work.

It's a great app. I haven't been able yet to use the moon and planets feature. However, the app works very well. The only problem is that it only allows you to save to your local memory. SD Local memory options are not available. I would like to save to SD card storage but it won't let me. This limits my use of the SD Local storage option and doesn't permit me to remove the laptop. It gets 4 stars if the memory storage is stable.

It is terrible. The app hangs constantly and the picture changes colors. Pixellates as crazy. It is not user-friendly and far less efficient than the camera apps. This app was the reason I purchased my camera, and now it is time to return it.

This App freezes intermittently when I use it with ZWO ASI 120MM -S as well as 178MC astrocameras. To connect to my Samsung Tab A tablet, I use a USB 3.0 OTG Cable with the type C end. To connect the OTG cable, my camera requires a 2m USB3.0 cable. The tablet can be used to control the camera's functions, but SharpCap may work better on the laptop.

It worked flawlessly the first time. Galaxy Note 10, ASI294MM (monochrome, uncooled). Well done! It would be great to have images saved in TIFF format for future developments.

The app works briefly, then it freezes. Close the app and reconnect your USB cord to restart. The video plays slowly, but the camera is fine on a laptop.

Live view bugs please be fixed. It was either the cord from my zwo, or the otg connector. However it works perfectly when I plug in firecapture.

It does not support the Google Intel Pixelbooks. The app runs, but it does not show the camera. I tried both the usb ports as well as the ubs3 cables and the usb2 cable. Camera does not show up in the App

Video glitches using note 20 ultra. Three usb-b to USB a cables were tried, as well 2 usba to usbc converters. The asi224mc is what I'm using. Perhaps the app should be updated to support the note 20

This app is great! It would be awesome if there was a Polar Aligment Tool that could quickly align (like the asiair pro App) for non-guided, non-computer goto mounts.
