Bosch MeasureOn for PC

This is all that I have to say. Some limitations make no sense. If I need to enter a dimension in order to create a string, can I limit my decimal places to 1? When something is 42", I must write 4.2. Why? Why limit to one decimal place instead of two? The job should include the measurements photos. You can export the photos from the app. The photos will be superimposed over the originals with their dimensions reduced. Multiple exports have failed to produce the same result. If the dimensions of the images are reduced, they won't be worth very much. Yes, it is better than nothing. It is possible to get useful information out in the field with just a few clipboards or pens. There are sacrifices and a lot more hassle that go along with this convenience.

There was no Bosch measurement tool! It is a useless app, even though it was advertised as being able to use Bluetooth. It keeps saying that it cannot find any devices. Both devices have Bluetooth. This has been downloaded onto my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and it runs on the latest Android platform. Could you tell me the reason I am not being able to use Bluetooth?

To calculate estimates, I use the measurement list and area calculator features. The measurement list feature, which can be connected by Bluetooth, allows you to take area measurements from your measuring device. It would also be useful for the area calculator. Is this possible? It is possible, but I recommend you to add this feature as an additional function.

There are issues with the thickness of the walls. When I measure the exact same area with a cad programme, the diagonal wall does not extend to the measurement that the program provides. You can measure on a lot more easily. You can't remove walls and lines. You can't snap walls in 45 or 90 seconds. It would be nice to have more functionality. It's okay for free. However, it wouldn't be useful in the field. A manual would be helpful, or a detailed tutorial.

You must make this app a project every time you want to use it. Online tutorials are a pain. It is very difficult to use the app. It is difficult to control the app remotely and to save a measurement. It is my goal to be able text or email the measurements and take pictures with my phone. It's not easy! It took me a lot of time to figure out the app. I haven't been able to find my way back. App needs lots of work. Bosch is simpler when it's simple! You don't have to do everything!

This app is not usable and deserves zero stars. Zoom on Quick Sketch and Detailed Floor plans are not available. If you have drawn a wall, you can't zoom in on it once you are done. I tried to send an email using the link, but it was not delivered. It is one of many complaints, but it is the only thing that renders the app inoperable. It is absolute garbage.

It deserves 4 stars, but it's fair! For two reasons, however, I will give it three stars. It is somewhat klunky. Although it takes some time to import all your measurements correctly via Bluetooth link, the process is easy and manageable. It is a vast improvement on a tape measure. Particularly for linear measurements with the basic handyman 50c model 165 feet. If you are tech-savvy, application has promise.

It is difficult to put windows or doors. The app isn't smart enough to scale your measurements. When you need to measure a wall again, the measurement will be changed but it won't scale. It has very basic features that make it disappointing. It will not allow you to use photos and measure the image and export as an image. Sketch mode does not allow you to adjust the size of your opening. It is fixed at 3ft.

It is almost impossible to use the picture manipulation and line drawing functions. It is almost impossible to line the arrows up with the magnification and measurements are often upside-down. The older measure and document app was still available. I tried it and found that the photos/arrows worked perfectly. Find out how that old app works and then fix it.

Although it was not a very good app, I upgraded to the Galaxy S5e and found that it has become almost inoperable. When I touch the screen, it draws a line. There is no way to delete that line like with my Pixel or old tab. I must use this app to find jobs. A small error could cause the measurement to be lost. Okay, I checked the app and discovered that the buttons will come back if the S5e's navigation bar is disabled. The ones that weren't covered were all accessible. This apple would be great if it could fix a few problems. One, I cannot manually enter decimal values. This may be fine overseas but not in America. The walls are also not able to adjust visually to the correct height. Instead of setting the wall at the right length, it places the length in brackets. This app is very disappointing, as it has great potential for tradespeople and architects.

The app was fun, but it is not what I expected. This app was helpful in creating a floor plan for an existing house. The app allowed me to draw the walls, and then fill in the measurements. It was possible to tell it the known dimensions (such as which walls measure 90 degrees and how long some walls are) so it can calculate lengths that I don't have measured. I find it easier to draw by hand on paper, fill out the distances and then enter the data into my computer.

This app is great on my Samsung Tab S6. Only thing that I would like to see fixed is the bottom and side menus for quick sketches and detailed plans. This I must delete, and then create a new one if I make a mistake. Help! We would love to have this option.

Complete failure. This was obvious within five minutes. I tried for 2 days to fix it. Just touch the drawing and it will pop up, blocking your view. It is impossible to move dimensional lines. The programmer has never even used the app. The app works great, but I can't use my Bosch laser tape with it. Hire a professional programmer. It's possible to make the app work like real people would.

The detailed plans are what I use. This is because it allows you to dimension each side of the wall. You can also add windows. It works great on my tablet, although I wouldn't recommend it for a smartphone. The display shows you when the laser gives you a reading and when it takes you to enter it. You can choose from the list of last measured. It does not include snapping to 90 45 for the detailed plans. You can draw a sketch and then convert. You can also create dimension lines for things.
