31 May 2022: App still experiences frequent internet disconnections. I do however have an extremely strong, fast internet connection at home. While the cameras are working fine, it is the app that causes the most problems. 15Feb2021- If the connection drop is significantly fixed, I will raise my star rating. There is potential in the app, but too many connection drops. The password requirements are weak. You can't use any special characters. Why, oh, why?

After watching a youtube video, setup was easy. It takes about a second to record motion. The problem with this is that it usually forgets what triggered it. It can also record motion blur, which is quite annoying. We had the neighbor's car windows shot. It was captured on video and it is clear that the truck is there. However, the blurred motion blur means you cannot see the number of the plate. It is difficult to find a way to make it better because of the poor documentation. It should record for 2 seconds prior to the motion alarm being triggered, and then 20 seconds later (my ringdoor does this), and provide clear video. Is there a better way?

This camera is a great value for money. The picture quality is amazing. To get better nighttime pictures, we paired the camera with a motion-sensored light. After having it for 9 months, we just experienced our first incident. Our cars were broken into by someone in the middle night. We can clearly see the perpetrators of the crime. However, the video cannot be transferred from my smartphone to show the police. The program is also terrible. The motion detection and notification system do not work well for us. It records very little or none at all. Although it is designed to alert you when it detects motion, it doesn't. Also, it does not only record when it senses movement. We had only 6 hours of footage on our 32gb card, and it eventually was erased. It is great to have caught them, but we cannot give it to the police so it is almost useless. The data on the card was corrupted when we plugged it into the computer. I can only get the file into the program, and it cannot be downloaded elsewhere.

It is not very user-friendly. The app is not easy to use. This app requires technical knowledge that is not available to the common person. To set up images or recordings for an email, you need to know more than simply entering your email address. This requires you to know your server port and smtp server. These things keep the camera and app from being easy to use.

The camera is great. This app is not as great as the camera, however it does have some potential. It keeps going off forever in the "action with alarm" area of the "alarm ringing hyperlink ". Is this supposed to go on according to motion detection? This needs to be fixed. Which sensitivity turns the alarm off in the alarm setting area - 10-20 30? These are all great things to think about for the future. In the meantime, I must turn it off.

It works well for me. It connects to all four of my cameras. The latest update with the "run in background" option is a pain. It is small and difficult to use, and it always needs to be unchecked every time the app closes. It shouldn't run in the background. And why doesn't the app remember my last settings? This could be fixed and I might increase my rating.

It is garbage. This app keeps dropping out several times per minute. Also, it allows you to choose to have it stay running in the background. Sometimes it takes many times before it leaves your screen. It should be disabled from running in the background

It works normally as expected. It is missing one major feature. You cannot speed up the video you are watching via webcam. The only option is to watch it in live time, or you can skip ahead. This is not useful for quick situations. This camera is used to monitor the chicken yard. We need to be able to replay footage throughout the night. If they don't add these enhanced playback capabilities, I will not be looking to buy more cameras.

It's a good app but not very useful once you get it working. I can't get my email to work. It always fails to pass the test. Two servers were used, but no success. Once I was able to get it working, I like the camera range settings. Both the manual and site videos are useless. It is best to experiment. This is a better way to set up than using a PC client. This camera is great! I tried the doorbell camera and it was useless. You wouldn't know that dogs bark sometimes.

It would be great to have vertical view to complement horizontal view. Smoother tilt and pan should feel more gradual. Open the app and remove the image of the globe. You take too much time to view the scene and go live.

It is a good app but needs to be better. Motion detection: 1. Notifications work, but I only get them if I have the app open. After that, it looks like my app went to sleep or has lost contact with my camera. No notifications. 2. You will need a timer to lower the notifications to "no more that every 30 seconds or one minute" if someone is walking by, such as my wife.

The app includes everything you need for security cameras ......record and motion detection. Push notification is also available. However, not all functions work correctly. Dates and times can change without notice. It seems that I am playing back video from the morning, which shows night vision captures. Notifications are also not reliable. These bugs must be fixed!

This tool works well with Amazon's camera. It can store up to one day's worth of data to the Cloud. The videos are approximately eight seconds long. Although some icons may not be able to select the correct download component due to their proximity, it's a useful tool. The instructions for installing and using the app are clear and easy.

If the app is not running, push notifications won't work. You can also only see saved videos that were created less than 24 hours ago. A sleepless night could cause me to miss an event completely. The app shouldn't be running continuously. Edit: I now see I can search beyond videos but I don't need the alarm to know I have an event.
