Caustic 3 for PC

I have tried every possible app for creating beats. I wanted something that I could use on the move, when I was bored. Although it can be difficult to get the instruments to sound right, once you do, it is possible to create a beat that's usable. This was something I didn't expect. Although it can sometimes be awkward and lacks some of the features that a normal computer would, this app is more than adequate for mobile use. 10/10

Acid, FL Studio, Logic Live, Garage Band and Protools were all tools I have owned. Each daw is great, but Caustic 3 works the best for me. Caustic 3 will make about 90% of my beat and send it to Bitwig who will add the finishing touches. It could use a MPC/finger drumming style sampler, and it would be nice to have a tutorial for 8bitsynth.

This is a great piece of Android music software, but the inability to update it regularly is a concern. You'll receive a notification about the version of Android 11 but it works. I paid for the full version anyway, as I needed to purchase backing rythims in order to play Hammer Dulcimer. I am happy with this app. It's my hope that the developer(s) will give the backend an update soon. This should not be abandonedware.

This app is amazing! It is the most useful app for smartphones and tablets, as well as being very simple to use. I just wish there was an easier way for me to download songs. I don't like the fact that you have to cut up the sample into eight measure pieces. It makes it more difficult than necessary. It would be great if it was possible to put entire songs into caustic, without having to chop them up.

The app is fantastic in general. It's only 4 stars, but I have experienced some strange glitches in the project. When you attempt to jump from one song sequencer section to another, the music freezes and makes an awful sound. Sometimes, even if you move the bar to get rid of the freezing it will continue to screech. It's strange that it does this when the song sequencer worked fine before. This needs to be fixed ASAP so that I can give 5 stars.

This app is beautiful and very useful, suitable for all music lovers. Amazing UX/UI. Simple functionality can be found even though complex activities are easily visible. These samples are great. You can import the MIDI file of your favourite song to reorganise it in an entirely new way. It takes about five minutes. Learn about music theory. It's the best "notepad" I have found to help me quickly create musical patterns. It can be used by even professionals on the move to create real music. Good job, Developers!

It's a great app with a simple interface and intuitive controls. It allows you to create songs or loops. There is a lot of musical variety, and the PCM synth provides the majority of it. This app is my favorite. I still use it more than any other. This app is a huge part of my musical growth.

I used this app for many years without realizing that there was a latency setting. These settings were recently discovered by me and I set both the portrate mode and latency to their lowest setting. The way that I interact with the app has been completely transformed by these settings. Caustic is amazing. This app has so many amazing features. Each of the soft synths included in the app is worth it. Imagine if you could add samples to your timeline!

It is by far the most popular Android app. This is the reason why I want a smartphone. It's simple to use, and the power it offers is amazing. My phone is my best friend when I need to execute a musical idea. The app doesn't get updated very often and that's a shame because it's amazing as is. This app is my favorite investment. It's easier to use than other android music apps. It offers features that no other music app on Android can offer. These are the best tutorial videos for Electronic music I have ever seen. This is a better tutorial than getting a Deluge or an OP1. It is the only way.

This is basically an unofficial version Propellerhead's popular DAW+ rack mount hardware emulator "Reason", but it was built for Android/smartphones and not PC's & mac's. The only problem is the fact that it was stopped for development in 2017. Moving forward. It's simply brilliant.

The best music app to create and share musical ideas while on the move. CAUSTIC is the best app for making music and collaborating with others. It's also the most affordable. If you are having a hard time understanding CAUSTIC then the YouTube videos will help. They also provide a great explanation for beginners. For all the hard work that went into the app, CAUSTIC gets three thumbs up. Keep it up! !

This app is amazing, but it has not been updated for a while. It also continues to burn through battery life very quickly. While it's fine to keep your phone plugged in at all times, the main purpose of the app is to be able access something useful on the move. Your battery life will be longer if your phone is in power-saving mode.

Similar to Reason, but without the computer. The best Android DAW. I wish the app had a quick tutorial or refresher course. It would be like overlaying a mouse to guide you. Since I last used Reason 22.5 or Cubase SX, it's been quite a while. This app makes me think back to 15 years ago. It would be great if there were a simpler way to do things, especially with patch cables.

There are many feedback issues with the fx, which can be difficult to manage without changing their sound. The reverb has only one sound and is quite plain. There are other synths that have better reverb and more tones. Although the sounds are good, some knobs don't have as much range or sensitiveness as they should. It was also difficult to cut out the measures of one synth, and then it would spread to others.

This app has been my beat machine and sampler for many years. After "unlocking" the sound editor, you can create samples for the Android drum machine to be used as hits or loops. This is how my main band performs live. We play to either a specific pattern, or an entire song. This app's sequencer is very intuitive. It's a wonderful app to keep in your pocket, or even on your tablet. Although support is not perfect, it is very affordable.
