The speed and simplicity of Chrome, now on your Android device in beta.
If you're interested in using Chrome Beta on your PC or Mac, you may be wondering how to download the app and get started. Fortunately, there are many resources available online that can guide you through the process similar to this article.
Google's browser works as expected. It is easy to use, fast, and accessible. But, I don't like the way my data is being tracked and that you have to search for every setting to disable it. It is not fair for web browsers to know what and when I do. Ads everywhere are just too much. This is why I quit watching TV. Too many advertisements make it impossible to enjoy any show. It's becoming more like the internet.
It has been great over the years, but it crashed frequently in the past few days, sometimes within seconds or minutes, according to many reviews. It seems to be working now after I uninstalled and reinstalled, however I had a few tabs that were lost. I should not need to do a clean install every time there's an update.
Google should stop moving things around. I am 59 years old and I have been a good techie since the beginning. It is annoying to need to search through everything in order to find something that I have used previously. It was found, but security precautions wouldn't permit a new card to be entered. I verified it (something that had the cvv numbers) and it worked correctly. However, it kicked me out. They think it is safer, but it makes it impossible for me to pay my bills. The bank computer that was used to top up my account had crashed. FM
This app has been in my possession for some time and I haven't felt the need to review it. Although it is a little annoying when features change, I accept that this beta version has some limitations. The thing that I'm most upset about is that they have added a CLOSE ALL TABS button where there was ADD A TAB! Inadvertently, I closed all of the tabs that were 77 in number! The "undo” notification had vanished at the bottom by the time that I realized it! Perhaps 2 seconds? It's not cool.
This version is very pleasing and comfortable to my eyes. It also works well in dark mode. In many aspects, it is more flexible than regular Chrome. It is easier to use, tabs are more organized, searching is much faster and easier and Gmail is amazing. It's not as mobile-friendly as the desktop interface, which is my only problem. It's possible to adapt the mobile version using my settings but it is not exactly the same experience. It gets an A.
It freezes after loading a webpage. The screen is too large to minimize. Waiting for Android version is the only way to close this app. 10. To say "App isn't responding" and asks me if I would like to close or wait. The "layered" tabs should be returned. What has changed with the tab layout? It looks like you are playing solitaire. It has been removed. I don't wish to endure it any longer.
Up to the last week, my experience was satisfactory. Every time I made changes to pages or sites, the debug would pop up. Chrome Beta is very fast. I tried to resolve this issue in Developer Options but it was not working. Update 12302020 still appears. Since my initial review, the browser's functionality and accessibility has improved significantly. It takes up too much space, which is something I'd like to change. But, it's not clear if this can be changed.
Hello ... Hello, I am working in the Chrome Beta as a test engineer. ... It has been a while since I noticed that it is time to upgrade, but the system wouldn't let me update. App pauses when it misbehaves. It doesn't seem to be working. See the screenshot ..... It has happened several times. It's possible that there are glitches. When I have the image, I'll send it to you. This is just a quick note. This app is still not updated. We are grateful. Everything is fine, other than those two issues.
Navigating to another tab is difficult. The top bar, which is the home page or tab of the browser, should be frozen. You would find it easier to navigate to the bookmark pages or tab. To see hundreds of articles I was scrolling down, I had scroll back up in order to reach the tab and home button. The interface is not intuitive. We hope you find this helpful.
It worked great for several years, but it has been very slow the past few months. It takes several seconds for characters to appear when I type in search. It doubles after I hit the letters twice. Backspacing characters to be deleted can also lag. It's been getting worse every day. For now, I switched to another browser. This is a problem that I trust the developers will fix soon.
It's really quite impressive. At one time, I was using all four versions of Chrome. But if it was found dead in the cage it could be considered too dangerous to miners who would spend many hours or days there. For now, the two most stable ones are the one I have. I use my smartphone to do all of my tasks so the memory space was limited. What was the matter? Right! It's a great experience. However, I now have high standards for Google because they have been leaders in so many fields. If they want to be at the top of their game, they must shine. Their Browser performance has been poor in recent years. I believe they can get back on track and be more productive in future.
App is now unbearable. Pages are slow loading and freezing constantly, sometimes not loading at all. There is also trouble closing tabs. I don't know what is going on, but this app has turned into more of a nuisance than a useful tool. These issues are occurring even though I have a great internet connection. It's not allowing me anymore to add tabs. It just moves my existing tab to the homepage when I try to add more. It is very frustrating!
It's faster than chrome basics and chrome dev. Also, the browser is very compatible with other browsers. Unfortunately, Kiwi Browser does not allow you to use chrome extensions. It's definitely one of my favorite browsers. Ideal for average users of smartphones. Although Puffin is the fastest browser available, it can be slow to access your downloaded files directory.
It's fast. It's fast. However, I do not like the many ads that appear on some sites. I don't see those ads when using the 2 other browsers available on my Android smartphone. It's absurd that I would want to be distracted by so many things. The distractions can become so distracting that it becomes unwise to visit certain websites. The distractions are filtered out by the 2 other browsers that I have. For now, uninstall
Autocorrect works perfectly. Pages load much faster. My home is in the mountains, so we only have 5 bars internet or dialup. No one's phone works faster. Even though I don't have full bars, sometimes it is not even LTE. The pages loaded faster than regular chrome, which I found to be true. The beta is already running smoother and faster. It worked with regular chrome, but I'm not certain if it is because I haven't used for a while. It runs smoothly and quickly.
