The EZVIZ app makes it easy to manage your camera remotely from across the globe
If you're interested in using EZVIZ on your PC or Mac, you may be wondering how to download the app and get started. Fortunately, there are many resources available online that can guide you through the process similar to this article.
The app is so hard to use over the last year that we are considering buying a new system. We can't even get the camera to open in playback mode. This makes it difficult to see past problems in the business and is common on security apps. It would be more practical and user-friendly than spending $1000 to reinstall 12 cameras.
Maybe it is because the camera I have is old, but this app is terrible. It is frustrating to set up your camera (e.g. Then press the Reset button, then plug in your camera [?!]). It takes several attempts before it is completed. I have never been able to connect the camera again after it was moved. It's inconsistent in its design, placement and language. I won't buy any other EZVIZ products based on the difficulties in setting up my camera using the app.
This app has been my favorite since its infancy. I still use it daily. The last major redesign of the interface was a complete failure. Please make the.apks from your past available on your site. I don't want to install the app through a third-party. Thank you for the great times.
You can add an adjustment to the in-app camera to select chime types (mechanical, digital or none), without needing to reset it each time. You could also fix the problem of an indoor mechanical chime not working properly after it was set up for the first time. The camera will then reset again to allow you access the different chime types. This issue has been known for three years and you still haven't addressed it. What are the best places to find parts?
Although the app's original format wasn't very user-friendly at first, it has become much more pleasant to use with each update. I hope that the changes continue to be positive. In the future, I will add outdoor cameras when they are available.
It worked fine until about a month ago. It was great that you could view video right from your home. You can then simply press the record button to upload it to YouTube. YouTube's YouTube function has stopped working since several months ago. The update cameras on motion record won't play any further than that. It will also not skip ahead to the next recording. It would also be great to have fast forward or slow motion capabilities, as others have suggested.
It could be better. There is no option to see feeds at different speeds. There is no fast forward/rewind option. One scroll bar that is difficult to manage. Motion detection is also an option. Every time a shadow from my tree moves, I receive an alert. Notifications of windy days must be disabled. It doesn't notify me when it detects movement.
It's okay, but could use some improvement. It would be great if they had the ability to modify the app and the software of the DVR so that the user could set the motion detection sensitivity to individual areas on a camera. You could set the back gate's sensitivity high, but the surrounding area should be lower to prevent bugs from flying about. It is not always easy to detect motion. You will see random things on the video, just like I Dream of Jeannie.
What is the best way to go back to previous versions? Zooming and paning are not working properly with the latest version. When I try zooming in on a recorded or live feed, it becomes choppy/ghostly and the replays of frames are triggered. The video becomes choppy and jerky when zooming in or panning. Sometimes you can watch the second counter move back one second, and the car moving back and forth. It seems like the buffer is short and restarts at an incorrect spot for zooming or panning. Please fix this or reverse the update. The person responding should be able pass on the provided information.
There are many things that could be done better. It is the least user-friendly interface I've ever seen. The interface is extremely confusing. There are many options and settings, but they are all scattered on separate screens. It seems that the motion recording and alarm settings are not simple enough. Although the camera video quality is excellent, it only works so far in a program with such limited design.
Although I love the system, I wish that I could easily export my video clips. I would rather choose a time to start and stop recording, than have to let the device automatically play it. Similar to what can be done with the dvr. Also, it would be great if the mobile app or pcstudio could allow me to quickly forward. It takes far too much time to record relevant clips, especially when you have to watch them in real-time. As a full-time job
**** Customer Service was helpful and able to resolve my problems. The app is not working for me. I find the new update to be easier and more pleasant. However, I do not seem to be able to access the settings or set the device up. It was necessary to completely reset the device and start over.
These cameras and the app have been in my possession for over 3 years. I have never had a problem. Now? Every time I zoom in on a clip, the phone freezes. It freezes, so I close the app, reopen the app, and then try to zoom in again. It rarely works. It's infuriating.
Edit - EZVIZ responded quickly and professionally to my situation. I was able to get the files and steps needed for my upgrade and they sent them. It works perfectly. This system is great! Original review: App does not send me motion detection notifications. All instructions have been followed and I tried to reach tech support but no reply. Motion detection is my most critical feature and I will be moving to another system if it doesn't get resolved.
Please bring back the old version. This app was my favorite. I hate the latest update. The scroll bar is my favorite feature. Folders are not helpful to me. Turn the scroll bar on. It was so simple to view and use timelines. I don't like the new tilt and pan buttons. This button is crazy. It's so easy to touch and the camera goes crazy. It was difficult to get my camera working again. Also, I am not receiving notifications. All that was fixed. * Can I install an older version of the app?
