FindShip App For Windows

This app was great for shipwatching. The app used to work well, but it now lags so badly that ship positions are incorrect. Plus, they have removed all the photos. It doesn't matter if the ship lags, as the ships appear with other apps perfectly. Marine Traffic is now $5.99 and I am so happy that I finally paid it. Although I prefer the Look of FindShip, it's just not functional any more.

I can't find a way to add ships to a fleet. But the problem lies in the fact that ads are played that emit sound effects. The ads sound very loud when my phone connects to Bluetooth speakers. This means that you can't use the app to listen to music or watch podcasts. It is unacceptable to allow someone else to take over your audio system.

This was a great app that worked well until very recently. It is one I rely on for my work. However, it has been constantly stating network error over the last week. At first, I assumed it was my problem with my phone's provider. However, after speaking to some of my coworkers who were having similar issues with different carriers, we discovered that it is actually an app issue. It is becoming ridiculous that there are so many people who actually pay for this app.

It was a great app, but they seem to have lost some shore reporting stations. The coverage is poor in my area. The app only shows about 5% to 6% of boats with their AIS on. The AIS is useless in displaying ship position and it often displays ships as stationary even though they're moving like high-speed ferries. It works well when there's a good shore receiving station, but it is rare.

September 5th, 2019 EDIT: Reinstalled the app, it's working now, thanks! It worked well for me. I was able to see which ships would be passing through my locks and I was able to head down to check if I saw anything interesting. For example, the USS Little Rock, just after its commissioning, got caught in Montreal's ice. I delete until it comes back or finds something similar.

It appears that life isn't back to normal. The issue was only partially solved. So back to 2 stars. I am currently seeing a Network Error when trying to view any ships tracking. Prior to this, there were no vessels and another "Network Error". I have tried to reach out to the developer/owner of the app via email but they are not responding. If it isn't resolved, I will not renew my contract in September.

The app was great, but it suddenly stopped working when I paid for it. The app just froze because I was aware that the ships were moving and the forecaster assumed they would be stationery. It now reports a network problem after four days. It was an excellent app, so please get in touch with me. It shows all boats when it refreshes. You must refund me.

This app has been working well for me over the last two months. However, it keeps showing the exact same location as before, the most recent update was on May 23, when the vessel was already underway. It also shows all the details that are current. I will update my review and give 5 stars if it is fixed. We are grateful.

This app was a favorite (past tense). After the "network problem" I was hopeful that all would soon be restored to normal. But, although I can see the barge passing by from my window, FindShip does not show it on the map. Some ship info is outdated by 20 minutes, while some are up-to-date.

It was an excellent app, and it is still part of the best. It does not currently work in the Cape Otway area of Victoria, Australia. Despite many feedbacks I have sent, there has been no reply from the app provider. I was also unable to advise them about boat details that were incorrectly displayed. This is a shame, as this was once the most reliable ship observer I have ever seen. 2. Juni 2020: Still not working off Cape Otway, Victoria Australia. It is not far away.

This app was free to casual users. I used it occasionally when near rivers or coasts could see visible ships. It reports "nerwork error" and does not plot ships on the map since about a month. It's quite telling that it doesn't list the app title when I go to Play Store. Developers are currently not able to access the shipping database. I downloaded Vessel Finder, a complimentary app that is free to download. It was easy and clear.

I'm not sure exactly what the problem is with this app, but it has displayed Network Error since a while. Yesterday night, while playing around with the app, it displayed Network Error. I created an account, set up a password, and now it's back to normal.

The app's ads were supposed to be turned off if you buy stuff, but they are annoying ads that appear at the bottom. Let's see: It is a complete waste of money. You can't track vessels without spending more or looking at an advertisement.

Update: This app is being replaced by another one. It works but the lack of photos for ships renders FindShip useless to me. Review: I am finding this app to be inoperable. No ships were shown and network error was indicated. It was an app that is very user-friendly and useful.

It used to be working fine but it now displays data and pictures only for a few seconds before suddenly stopping. It has been reinstalled several times. I don't know what caused it. Although I'd like to rate the original version 5 stars, it is now just 2.
