Genius Scan - PDF Scanner for PC

When I searched for an app that could keep digital receipts copies, this app was the best. Upgrade to the + Version - it's only $10 and no subscription required. After this scan, I removed all other scanning programs I had installed. It took me about 10 minutes to scan the whole stack of documents that I had been holding off on printing.

Although the app does not capture images as well, it is still quite good. The app was downloaded to capture my sketches. It makes them look more professional. The color settings work well but it doesn't detect light very well if you draw it. Other than that, I think any paper or document with clear and detailed handwriting will work well. ^^

Although it took me a while to find the right way to use my yellow window to frame my document, after that it was easy. You can choose from a variety of embedded features. They are easy to use and don't interrupt pop-ups or pitches. It was a great idea to remove 3rd-party ads. Bravo

This app was recommended by my former employer to scan and export documents on the road. I've used it both on ios as well as android with no problems. Today, however, I found that the auto-detect function was not working as it should. The settings toggle indicated the feature active. This causes poor quality scans. It could be an app glitch, but it is still a problem if quality continues to drop.

It's a good scanner software. However, paying members to automatically upload files to your drive are annoying and pointless. I can easily email the file to myself, and then download it to add to my drive. Sometimes, I wish that I could adjust the brightness of specific scams. All in all, very satisfied. Some brightness-changing tools are a nice addition, as well as removing the useless paywall.

It's perfect for me! Online teaching is my profession. To monitor student progress, the school district asks parents to scan work samples and submit them each month. GeniusScan has been my favorite app. It is simple to use and doesn't have any advertising. It is perfect for schools. To help you keep going, I bought the + version. It allows me to access some features that make teaching easier. We are grateful! !

Impressive. It's not just for scanning. It does what I needed: create multipage PDFs using Android Gallery pix. The Basic edition is great, and the Plus version costs $10. This adds amazing features such as automatic archiving, OCR for searchable PDFs, encryption, and more. A robust support website provides detailed How To's.

OCR works well provided that the images are clear and have text in the foreground. The OCR part is useless for Black backgrounds and White Foregrounds (text). An Invert Filter would be a great addition to this filter. There are no adjustment slider bars on the existing filters. The plus edition is more expensive, especially considering the above issues.

Genius Scan is the scanner I've reviewed most. With a few extra features, it would be able to beat all other scanners. These features are not available in the paid version. The user can specify the location of the file to be saved, including on an SD card. 2. OCR. This would enhance the quality of the free version.

Genius scan is my favorite app. It has never let me down. This App has been my favorite for over 5 years. It allows me to share and upload important documents via online forms and other apps. It can scan automatically, but you have the option to manually crop, reorder, or upload the page(s) to any storage. It is a great tool!

It's so close to replacing my Chinese scanner app. The "Magic mode", however, is too annoying. I'll give you control over the shutter and perform edge detection of the static image. We will both be satisfied! You can stop the magic by pressing the shutter button. However, it won't attempt to automatically crop the image. Help docs mention a button at the top of the screen to return to manual mode. However, this must not have been in Version 5.

It's great! You can scan everything in full-color and share them over social media. You can easily make many changes and it won't pick up any erased marks. However, lighting can make your scanning difficult to read. It is easy to fix and almost inevitable. Apart from this, it does a great job.

The 5 dollar cost was worth it. I will never again use a stupid scanner. It allows me to scan files and send them to my google drive. It allows you to crop each image to make sure that every slide is straight. The scan quality is excellent. Although the app can be difficult to use, it is extremely helpful once you learn how.

Perfect. There were no ads and the reason the company provided was great. The upgrade was cheap so that I could export to different cloud storage providers (such as Dropbox). It is very easy to use, and does an excellent job scanning. You can also choose to export only to your device if it's something super private (you can even encrypt/password-protect it). There are many scanning apps available.

The best document scanner app that I've ever used! You can scan everything and edit each scan's page type, crop area, color filter, or page-type individually. Even dark pencils can be picked up and sharpened in "black and white" mode. Additional features that I would like to see are an "insert scanner after this page" option, which I use when I'm in middle of a document and want to add another one. However, this is a solution that I am happy with. This app is amazing! !
