Google Pinyin Input for PC

This app didn't function as expected when I got my new Android phone. It doesn't recognize the common words that I use so it requires me to enter the whole city name !!!!!. It also seems to be more prone to misspelling, it just feels like the keyboard is out of alignment. This is an enormous improvement in the user experience compared to the Gboard.

It's a great keyboard. This keyboard is one of very few that allows you to swipe in both English pinyin and Chinese pinyin simultaneously. FEEDBACK to Google: I would like two things to improve the Android system. One, the option to set a dark theme for the keyboard when it is turned to dark mode. Another suggestion is to make it possible to change the order of language tabs.

It is my responsibility to write a negative comment. It works fine. The app supports both simplified and traditional characters, and it keeps adding commonly used words to the dictionary. It keeps deactivating automatically every time you switch keyboards. This is the biggest problem. I found it frustrating that you have to go into the settings each time you write. This made the app uninstallable.

It is not possible to use the keyboard to enter tones (a,a,a,a,a), without already having characters typed. This can be frustrating and annoying. You can't see some characters so it's necessary to specify the word's tone. I would like to be able just to include the tone on a regular basis. This has affected the user experience in a significant way.

This app overall is good, but there are some things that could be improved. It is not possible to add new words using the dictionary, which can be redundant. Traditional Chinese names, such as Traditional Chinese ones, have both traditional and simplified characters. This is why it's impossible to input pinyin for a name. Instead you will get the traditional version of that name with no option to select the simplified form or to add correct words to your dictionary. It would be great if there was an update to the website soon. This will address many of the issues that users have, especially with regards to the dictionary and other features.

This pinyin keyboard is undoubtedly the best, however, I hope you can update it quickly and add the gboard feature! Gboard doesn't seem to be very friendly to Chinese. Maybe it is just difficult to concentrate on the language typed. I wish that you could do more.

This app has been great for me over four years. It's great that you can change between languages while chatting with friends of different races. It's hard to understand why people leave one star because the storage is full. I think it's the inputs that are to blame. They could simply go to the shop and get professional assistance. Anyways, I love the app and find it more useful than the gboard. We are grateful for your assistance!

It's simple to use and works well. It would however be great if the symbols that are most frequently used could be set/changed on the sidebar. One example: I frequently use the "," (a Chinese caesura sign), but it isn't on my sidebar. To get one song, it's annoying to click twice.

This keyboard is the only one that still allows me to use my old T9 format back in the days when I used a flip-phone. It was much easier than looking for every letter individually, and that's why I am so happy to have it back. Please do not discontinue this application.

The clipboard function was a great feature that this app had until its developers removed it. Gboard doesn't work as well as swipe up/down. It won't let you see capital letters or special characters any more. Gif search and the emoji buttons can also be annoying, and take up screen space.

There are no emoji updates and there isn't an emoji search. It won't let me change it about the frequently-typed words that it autocorrects away. It is frustrating because even though I prefer the standard keyboard, it keeps trying to autocorrect away words I have written.

This is a great app. However, it can be really annoying when you want to backspace. Instead of taking away the suggestion bar, it takes it out. This is something that no other keyboard can do, so it really is jarring. It would be great if the Zhong/En buttons could be separated from the suggestion bars. Since I use the language key to toggle between them, having them separate from the suggestion bar is pretty pointless for me.

The app works well. However, I suggest that you add 2 additional functions. This is a shortcut for changing from traditional to simplified Chinese. 2. This function allows you to import common words from local dialects, such as Cantonese. Thanks! Keep up the great work.

Google and Android are almost over for me. They want you to keep upgrading your phone to increase internal storage. This is done by filling it with unneeded apps. You finally give in to their demands and buy a 32GB smartphone. You're right, 75% is used with more apps that cannot be deleted. You decide to buy an SD Card. But wait. It is useless because you cannot move any of your apps to SD cards right now.

It is great, but there are better ways. For example, it is possible for the app to recognize each input language and automatically change the language. You just have to choose the preferred language for each appreciation. They are also capable of typing more difficult words
