If you're interested in using Hangouts Meet on your PC or Mac, you may be wondering how to download the app and get started. Fortunately, there are many resources available online that can guide you through the process similar to this article.

Hangouts Meet App For Windows

Hangout was the first app that could handle all of these functions. It included text, image, audio, and video. You could also call or be called. Three steps back: you will need to download and maintain separate apps, plan ahead rather than calling and being called as needed, and use a different channel to communicate the meeting code. This is the worst idea by the stupid Zoom people. We now have that antifeature too, since Google has run out of ideas.

The app is lacking in features. It is part of my gSuite and has a closed captioning function that seems very accurate. You can't select your gallery view and you cannot make your entire screen visible when filming. This is frustrating when trying to show space in virtual reality. It doesn't appear to be possible to schedule a meeting via the app or PC. There is no recording option. The app makes it difficult to switch views.

The latest update has caused the app to freeze when you have multiple open apps and attend a meeting. The meeting can be seen in the background, but mobile is hanging. One section shows the profile picture and another section displays host activity. This has happened multiple times since I attended the meeting. If you open another app, it freezes completely. Cheers

It is strange that people can't hear me when I use this app via my phone, even though I have the microphone turned on. Except for those situations where they ignore me, they say they can't hear me because there is always some background noise. Is there a solution? YouTube doesn't have a solution that would solve my problem. However, everything seems to work perfectly from my laptop which is both strange and creepy.

This is what I use to call my friends. So, first problem, terrible audio. This happens all the time, and my friend cannot hear me at all. Second, it can take a while for my friend's call to be answered. My friend called me once. I joined. I was allowed in by her. It showed me that i was on the call but I was not. While i was still on the joining screen, I could hear my friend but not me. This needs to be fixed as quickly as possible!

It's not easy, but it is possible to get used to. It works well with the basic Google pixel buds version. It is difficult to switch between zoom and voice in a phone call.

Okay, we moved from Hangouts (a great app) which worked well to Google Meet (a so-called new app). It's so slow that the video doesn't come through. The microphone isn’t picking up very well and it shuts down on its own. Google is so large that they can't tell when to let a good thing go. It's pathetic.

Although the previous layout was quite nice, the layout changed completely after the update. The screen now isn't fully visible. The screen can only be seen in half. It needs to be fixed. It is now working and it's one of our favorite video calling apps. We are grateful for your assistance. Google, thank you. Please keep it up

(+) Clear voice. Clear voice. After the reply, I added: Thank you for your reply. My comments were not related to video quality and bandwidth. Performance in low-light conditions was the issue. We hope the screen sharing situation will be improved soon by the app. Additional: We are grateful.

It is so annoying that when someone leaves a video chat, it will ask if they want to continue the conversation or to end it. It has asked me a number of times, but it still keeps asking. It's dumb. It's not something I enjoy. It kicks you off the chat if you do not answer within a specified time frame. It used to ask no questions.

Regular Google Pixel users. Although I enjoy the products, I would like to comment on Google Meet. I also like that the Google app Merit is not the Google product. Productivity and features. Just a request to the team: Please let us film the meeting. We will need to add screencasts or Screen Recording applications. We appreciate your cooperation.

Poor workflow between calendar, mail and meet. Clicking on "join meet from calendar" will ask about which user you want to join (it doesn't save the last user). The launch of the meet takes several seconds. It is impossible to find out which calendar meeting you have joined after joining. You can also go to Gmail while a meet is ongoing. The meet tab is launched instead, which can be very frustrating as the user must switch tabs in order to access mail. If you're using full Google workflow, Meet won't work.

This is a great tool because it allows me to call my friends for hours without having to worry about time limits. It also makes it easy for me create a link and use the site! It's easy to see the other members before joining, double-check your camera and it works perfectly. 100% recommend.

The app crashes constantly. This is the worst Google app. The mic doesn't work often and the video keeps crashing. This app has many problems. Google has not responded to my numerous complaints.

Google Meet is so simple. There is no nonsense or silly backgrounds. It's a great interface and easy to use chat. Meeting done. Job done. This tool is so easy to use that it's superior to any other. All of Zoom, Skype and Meet could learn from each other.
