HomeSafe View App For Windows

This app has been with me for over two years. It doesn't seem to want to load, or it doesn't allow you to click on the screen. Every app seems to have the exact same problem. It seems like everyone has the same problem.

This is a shame. This app could use some minor bug fixes or stability enhancements and it would still be great. Streams have problems opening on different networks over WiFi, as others have stated. Resuming an app can sometimes cause it to forget the password that allows you access the system. To resolve this issue, you will need to close the app and restart it.

It should be better. This app is not able to load my 9-camera system. I see nothing but a spinning circle when it attempts to load feeds. After a while, it will stop trying to load cameras. Sometimes clearing the cache of the app can help. Sometimes clearing the cache helps.

It's better to know the devil than you don’t. Multi-system user for many years. Swann Support just sent me my third-generation System. It is now compatible with HomeSafe View. This is as terrible as it sounds, as Swan Security cannot separate the system views. MAJOR SECURITY FAIL! Swann allows for you to only have one secure system if you own multiple websites, which is not possible with Swan View Link and Swan View Link. It seems that I cannot buy more Swann Systems.

Very faulty app. The app is not compatible with all operating systems in different ways. My android 8.1.0 is not compatible with the menu options. You gave this information to your 3-year-old to program as it is one of the most crucial marketing points. Even though your system is very sophisticated, I was expecting to be able see the license plates right outside my home. This app is terrible. I'm okay with it.

This app is amazing for my Note 8! It took me a while to learn how to use this app. Luckily, I was able to find YouTube videos that helped. Amazing! Although it's not perfect, I can imagine that it would be difficult for all data, functions, and interface components of the software to work across multiple devices. Amcrest made great hardware but the software was disappointing. Swann was my first choice and I am happy I made the decision to purchase them again. A 8-channel 4K NVR.

It was not a pleasant experience. The app worked initially, but after several weeks it stopped working. I could only view the images for 1 second from 4 of the 13 cameras. It is also difficult to use the app. The app is too complicated to locate the playback, and the video cuts out all of the most important bits when it does find it. It's very annoying that the entire purpose of video recording doesn't work multiple times.

It is absolutely terrible. To get the app to work, I must uninstall it and then reinstall it. Although they claim to fix bugs and other issues, it's not always reliable. They should have the ability to pay a professional to make an actual app. You can see the cameras well if they are visible to you or you have a dvr box at home.

Useless! It was working fine for a while, but now everything is all wrong. The times are changing at lightning speed, jumping around a lot throughout the day. The playback can be very slow and misses time frames. If you have your mail or burglary reported, you will not even see any of it. Also, poor picture quality. My camera disconnects every time so I have to connect it manually. It takes forever to load the camera's and app. This app doesn't seem to be beneficial. They're most likely lying. Major bug fixes and upgrades are needed!

App won't let you load cameras. These cameras work fine with the same internet as your phone's app. Although it says that there are no cameras, they can be seen on the connected TV. It's useless if I am away and need to see a view of my home or neighbor. It's probably time for a brand new app and a different system.

Although I was optimistic when I bought the camera system, this app has been a disappointment. The app is extremely unreliable when it comes to push notifications. Multiple times the camera senses motion but fails to send a notification. When your phone isn't connected to the internet, the app will run in the background. It drains battery. It is difficult to use. It shouldn't be necessary to search for how to use basic functions of the app.

This is what I would like to do. It's true. It's just not possible. Swann was a much better choice than I had expected. Swann NVR8580 was my upgrade from the Ring system. This system was appealing to me because it offered self-monitoring, motion notifications and Amazon Alexa compatibility. But none of this works. I don't get notifications. My phone can't record video. It just skips uncontrollably. Main stream won't buffer. Alexa couldn't locate my cameras (tech support could not help). Really disappointed!

Although I don't have the same issue as others with the video feed not loading, I haven’t been able use the option bar on the left for several months. It disappeared one day and it didn't come back even after I forced closed the app, uninstalled it and then reinstalled it. The app finally returned, although I was unable to playback any video during that time. The app sometimes crashed when I tried to open feeds. This camera system is not recommended.

It is a terrible and ineffective app. The app is very poorly designed, and it's difficult to use. Even though I have fast internet access and a Samsung S8 Plus, I rarely can see any recorded events. D-Link wireless cameras are all I own and I see the recorded events nearly instantly. Swann must be embarrassed by this app. However, it's an important component of my camera system.

The quality of the video and everything is fine with me. When I press the menu button in the upper left corner, it opens a welcome screen with no menu options. Even though that was the reason I purchased this system, I cannot access my phone to view or playback video. Now, if I need to view video, I can go to my office and do so (which is exactly why I bought a professional system).
