JBL Connect App For Windows

The app was frustratingly slow and didn't function for me. I quit using it after a few months. Many colors in the colour picker didn't match what you selected. This was until the latest update. Although it's difficult to connect, the UI is cleaner now and the color wheel seems a little more responsive. Kinda.

It is not connecting to xtreme 2. It has been over a year since the app stopped finding my speaker. I am so disappointed with jbl. Customer service was poor and the product support was terrible. I have spoken to tech support numerous times, but they never responded. The speaker is great and works well so it could be considered a bonus. It is not possible to have a party with the other speakers. Junk app. Don't expect much if you need help.

There are no add-ons. It's a very simple application. It's too simple. I need a bug fix to my charger 3, 4, and extreme. They cut out when they are connected, even though I am only a few feet away. They won't work in stereo mode with different models. They switched to party boost, so that my speakers won't work on newer models. I would love to get the latest ones, but that would mean losing my older ones. JBL has the top BT speaker along with the UE.

This seems to interfere with the charge 5's ability for multiple devices to pair at once. The startup sound keeps coming on no matter what I do. The startup sound will be turned back on automatically if my phone is connected with the speaker.

The app could not connect to my Flip 4! Also, the previous app couldn't connect to my Flip 4. Although my phone can connect to the speaker for music playback, it cannot upgrade its firmware. A firmware update would have enabled the speakers to communicate with my Sony Android TV, and any other devices not yet compatible. Tech support could not help.

This app crashes all the time on my Pixel. It usually crashes after I leave it open for 5 minutes. It is extremely useful when it works. It doesn't offer enough features to make it more useful than what the device already does. There is only one setting: brightness, and another for custom lightshow settings. These two features are not worth the effort.

Stereo mode can be very buggy. Although it claims that the app saves configurations, I have to reconfigure each time my speakers turn on. The app's information would not be so confusing. It's a shame because the speakers they use are of high quality. It would be great if more companies had the same quality hardware and software.

It works well, almost. I can't locate any instruction so will have to do it myself. It took me a while to learn how to use the Xtreme 2's L/R stereo. It should be easy. It works most of the times, but there is a lot of interference and the channel that you are trying to access is always cutting out. It needs to be improved. This is why I will probably return one speaker. If stereo quality is poor, it's no use having two speakers. Speakers themselves are excellent.

For a long time, I was confused by the fact that clicking on the speaker picture did not open the settings. Instead, you needed to click the settings icon at bottom. This didn't feel intuitive, as I thought it was more to do with the app settings. It just doesn't make any sense. I don't know how to update or verify the firmware. Yes, that screen is easily found. It looks good and functions well. I don't think you need it, unless you have multiple speakers.

Before I bought another JBL Flip5, I would have read all the reviews. The sound was amazing and I bought another one when I realized you can link two for stereo. The app works only once out of 5 attempts, which was a surprise to me. The app must be removed and installed again. Even then, the stereo option only came up once. Party boost mode is functional, but it's irrelevant. I am really frustrated by how sloppy the app is compared to its product.

After spending over half an hour trying to get the app to connect, I had already left a 1-star review. After leaving my review, I tried again and finally the app connected. Although it took several attempts to make the firmware update work, it finally worked. It was not fun. It's not intuitive. This is because my Bluetooth keeps disconnecting. This has been my Bluetooth for 3 years, so it is not the end.

You're a total crapshoot when trying to connect two speakers to make sure it works. It can also be very frustrating when trying to share your music with others. The .... instructions are very unclear. After working as a technical writer in a company that provided software training, I have learned that your instructions are confusing and the app is a complete waste of time.

The app does not register connection with my Flip 4, however it registers connections with other devices. It also fails to connect with my flip 4 when I attempt to update the app using a friend's phone. I have tried 8 different times to fix it, but each update takes over an hour.

Stereo mode only once worked. Only once. It works fine in party mode (mono). As it stands now, the app doesn't offer any real value. The app can display the firmware version as well as the battery level. The speaker already displays the battery level. It is not always possible to choose between stereo or party mode. Speakers themselves produce good sound. The app is useless for 99 percent.

It doesn't feel like I am connected. This app has a lot to improve. It connects speakers quickly and it works on six speakers. It is far more efficient than the UE megaboom. Bad news: This app is limited in functionality. It's not worth opening. The UE megaboom allows you to turn on each speaker individually, adjust the volume and provide a variety of features for each song. Are you with JBL?
