Horrible. It is so frustrating. For the first few weeks, I was very happy with how the app/deck lights performed. App was great. It changed the lights according to my settings. Everything changed after that. Even though I had it set to constant, the lights would change randomly. It works on and off. It will shut off on some days, and then it may come back to life. It has tried to reset, but with no success. Sometimes, I will turn off the lights and then all of the lights go white.

Update 7/2822 Google Home sometimes is unable to detect/reach these lights. The lights come on and change colors or blink randomly. Please undo whatever you have done. I had been looking at getting additional lights, but I am now considering replacing them all with something better.

The app was flawless for over two years. It was always available with all the settings and scheduling I'd set up, and it was easy to pair with Google Home. To relink the device, it no longer connects to my Google Home. This new Pro app was first installed. It won't let me log in, even though my password is correct. The error code is -99. It will be fixed and I'll give 5 stars. They are very neat, affordable, and competitive with Phillips Hue.

The app is not suitable for my particular environment because of a couple of flaws: It cannot pair WiFi led controllers and non-broadcasting Ssids. I found a workaround but it is a painsel. If you are not connected to the same ssid, the software will refuse to attempt to connect to your led controllers. It can be frustrating to have two wlans, one dedicated for led controllers and another for computing devices. 3. When I attempt to update firmware for the led controller, the app crashes.

The app is great and I love it. There are two issues with the app that I find very annoying. First, my Google Assistant tells me that it cannot connect to certain lights after connecting all of them. This happens about two days later. My current 8 lights use between three and five of them. Second, my phone must be connected to the same network as the lights in order to allow me to control them. I have two different lighting groups that need to be on separate networks because of their location.

I can't log in any more. Although the bulbs work normally, 5 have blown out and I am unable to connect them. The app will not allow me to log in. No matter what I do, the error code is "-99". Restarted my phone and cleared the cache. I also changed my password two times, verified that my device is on Bluetooth and WiFi, and then uninstalled and reinstalled it twice. It doesn't work. My mind is a blur. It wants me to login first before I can contact customer service.

App worked great. It was great, as were the bulbs. It was then updated. It crashes almost every launch attempt. My phone locks when it attempts to launch. It will usually display a blank screen. It can only make one change if it works. There is only one. You cannot take another action using the same light. Ex: Turn on the light, but do not change its color. Locks.

The simplicity of the controller is great. However, the synch loss when the phone's screen turns off can be frustrating. If I am playing music, the light flashes to the beat but it continues playing. A timer would be my one wish for a future update. As it stands now, the timer functions more as an alarm clock. It executes the function only at certain times of the day. If I had the ability to set a timer that acts like a countdown, I would be happy for it to do so after "x" minutes.

It works. Although there are some UI/UX issues, the app is still usable. It's better to be patient than angry that it isn't working right. One thing that I'm concerned about is the fact that the app seems to store your router/modem password in plaintext. It populates in plaintext from memory after you sign in. This leads me to believe that it does not use any token or hash system, as most apps. While this might not pose a major security problem, I do hope more attention is paid to security issues in other parts of the app/lightsystem.

UPDATE: I got in touch with the developers via email. The controller was connected to my router after I removed the protective cover using a putty knife. The antenna was very weak and could not pick up any wifi signals. The controller was programmed and the cover has been replaced. It is now working perfectly. It's not clear if this will have to be repeated if power is lost. We'll just have to wait and see. Original review: After several attempts, I managed to connect the smart controller to my Eero router. After unplugging the smart controller, however, it didn't work again. The entire troubleshooting process (resetting router, restarting router) has been repeated several times. It was set up about a foot from my dual-band router but it keeps saying "connection failed".

So far so good! This was purchased to allow me to play music and have colors sync with the music. It works with both light sources and looks great using the Group->Mic function. This product is far superior to any in its price class. Customer service was very responsive to my questions. Although the UI needs some improvement, it is still very responsive. It was an excellent purchase! Cheers.

Although the app is quite good, I am a bit disappointed by some settings. The color-changing modes take a long time, even when they are at their fastest speed. This issue has been raised several times, but I have not received a response. It can be difficult to adjust the color controls. The mic sync option works well, although it is limited. The bulbs are great, although the software is a bit disappointing. If there was more control options, I would give it five stars.

The app works well, but it is not compatible with multiple controllers and disconnects frequently. You can only play downloaded music. I have over 5000 songs and the search bar is not working. Instead of using this horrible music player, there should be an option to use sound from other apps to base colors. Also, multiple controllers should be able to work simultaneously. It also says that you must select your WiFi. My router was selected 4 times. Without a strength meter, I couldn't determine which was closer or best.

I bought the LEDs for this application. I wanted to be able to simulate a sunrise by using it as a wake-up call. You cannot set your alarm to change any color gradually. False advertising False advertising! You can't even use the custom colors you have chosen unless they are turned on manually. This is a terrible application. Avoid it.

Cool at first. After reading the instructions about how the phone and controller were connected to the same network, it was easy to get them to work together. However, the lights aren't turning on as well with my remote control now that it has been a month. The app is not available for controlling the lights. I tried resetting, but it didn't work. The lights are simply cycling through the different colors.
