If you're interested in using RAV FileHub on your PC or Mac, you may be wondering how to download the app and get started. Fortunately, there are many resources available online that can guide you through the process similar to this article.

RAV FileHub App For Windows

This is awkward and huge, for the purpose it serves (seriously, guys, 20MB would be a great excuse, not to mention 147MB). It's not very good at English and doesn't have basic options like a way to reconnect WiFi or reboot, without needing to do anything first. This app has one advantage: it is easier than manually searching for the RAVpower IP in a browser. However, it does a great job at finding it from both sides of the network.

It took me a while to understand how this works. It was sometimes impossible to switch apps. I had to shut down the app, reopen the app and it would reconnect. If you have a filehub, I suggest that it be plugged into the router. You can also use one of our usb ports for charging. When I return home, it is always available! It's a great tool.

**Solution! This may not be the right solution for you, but it worked for me. An android comes with Lookout Security. After disabling Lookout as an administrator application on the device and stopping it, I was able connect instantly through both the RAV fileHub app and the web interface at 10.10.10.254. Although you might not be using Lookout, another security application could also cause the problem. I do hope that this is helpful.

Pathetic. You don't see it working more often than you think. You can recognize the sd card, but it won't show any content. You can do the same thing with thumb drive ditto. It works sometimes, but not often. If the app doesn't perform as advertised, it is useless. A quick glance at the comments will tell Ravpower that they need to get together. There are many other problems. To o many to list.

Apps that require excessive permissions will not work without them. Location, contacts, etc. For devices that simply backup photos to an SD card, these are not necessary. Owners of Rav file hubs will be happy to know that they can access the hub directly via their browser at 10.10.10.254. This allows them to enjoy the same user experience, without data leakage or privacy violations.

It was frustrating, but it finally worked. Problem was that I use Google Fi. It seems that there's now an integrated VPN which is turned on automatically. The FileHub won't work with VPNs. The app worked fine once I had figured it out, which took me hours. Duh....

It works as it should. The FileHub app is very fast to copy files, and it is useful that I can check the status of my SD cards backup. It would be nice if the tablet could automatically switch to landscape mode without me having to open an app to control rotation.

Although this has great potential, a poor app can be a disaster. This is used for local copying and backup. However, if you have any problems with your wireless connection app logic it is very frustrating. Like "Overwrite All" prompting you at EVERY file overwrite. It should have been fixed within days. If you have this problem, I suggest that users send a new email to the appropriate folder and copy your message. The vendor has responded. Increase the number to 3. It is encouraging to see that support does respond, which is an excellent sign.

I'm not sure why the app has such poor reviews. This app is better paired with the hub 09 The hub03, which I originally created, has no benefit. Everything works fine with the hub03, but it's much less functional than my original one. Attached to my 2TB external drive, it's now my primary drive for all of the phones and tablets in our family. It is easier to use than my main NAS, which I have a synology.

This App is required if you own the RAV Power File hub. Although it is free and easy to use, you will need to spend some time getting the Hub and app working properly. It doesn't differ from any other Software Etc. After a few hours of playing around with the App, you should be able to get it up and running in no time. After reading through the manual, it took me around 2 hours to get used to it. Now I am able to do whatever I need without ever having to consult the manual.

Based on the program's wifi performance through 5g streaming from a WD, I give it 4 stars. It loses 2 stars, when it should have received 5 stars. It doesn't seem to be able use third-party apps to manage image files. You can forget about jpeg, png, etc.. This program will not allow you to open the file or rename it. It is strange because you have the option of opening all video files.

*** DO NOT UPDATE YOUR APP *** ************************************************ W.T.F!!! Version 2.0.146 is not able to access your phone storage What use does this app have if it cannot connect to filehub and phone? So, I ended up installing the apk from previous version 2.0.142 again and turning off Google Play Auto-Update for this app so that it stays on an older version. *******ALSO: Switching to FILE MASTER PLUS app -- Install that app, choose remote, add remote location, network, and select FILEHUB. Input your login.

Although the application is connected to my Ravpower filehub wd009, the app states that it cannot connect. This product should work prior to my trip. Any suggestions? The firmware was updated and I also used the reset button to restart the file hub.

These people have really screwed Android users. YouTube users will often use Apple devices to link the WD009 with a wireless network. After trying three devices, I discovered that they had poorly implemented Android's version. It doesn't search for connections. Security or Not. App developers have made the device unusable for android users.

Although I had read negative reviews, I hesitated to download it to my Android LGV30 smartphone. I'm now very happy. The software works exactly as it was described. There are no issues that other reviews have mentioned. It was worth the effort. It isn't running in background, and doesn't take up too much space. If you're willing to read the directions and learn how it works, I highly recommend it ....... I should also add that the iOS version is equally good on my iPad Air.
