If you're interested in using RoadCam on your PC or Mac, you may be wondering how to download the app and get started. Fortunately, there are many resources available online that can guide you through the process similar to this article.

RoadCam App For Windows

It is very basic. You can't adjust the angle or zoom. You can only change the resolution of your video or photos. The transfer speed is extremely slow, and the battery can go flat if the phone is not plugged in. It may fail to work if the video is longer than six or eight minutes depending on several factors.

The first time I tried to log in and register, it failed. I received a "network error message" from it. There is no help section. It took me a while before I was able to understand how to transfer videos from my smartphone. This process is quite different than downloading photos. It requires permissions which I don't like. It should include a help section and an instruction section. Some permissions need to be removed, WiFi can work better as it slows down on fast motion.

It works fine. It didn't initially connect, but it did after switching off the wifi. Broken English everywhere Edit (boosted ratings to ensure they don't delete it) I have been using this app for nearly a month. This app is rubbish. It is so difficult and confusing to transfer my videos from my phone. They have many ineffective features, such as community sharing that allows anyone to see your videos. It's much easier to upload my video to YouTube than to get my own. Garbage

My phone is connected to my dashcam, but the app doesn't recognize it. It keeps asking me to reconnect. This app is recommended by MT003 creators! The app creator did not respond to my request for assistance. Now I've connected my smartphone to the camera. Although I am aware that you need to disconnect the data from your phone, I didn't realize that GPS must also be turned on. Now it connects immediately.

It works well with Pard NV007. This could be fixed by adjusting the orientation of the phone. These issues can be fixed and you'll get the stars.

Or it will crash. When it finally connected, it crashed and the entire cam was lost. I used reset to turn it back on and it worked. All buttons had gone out of action. The app won't connect when it should, but it connects via WiFi to the cam OK. At this stage I am not sure if the problem is with the app or both. Bravo!

I tried the app using the Pixel 3a smartphone and the Akaso VR50 camera. Although I was able to link the camera to the app, it is extremely slow and difficult to use. In the hope of improving performance, I tried lowering the resolution to see if that would help. It is a great app, and I'm happy to give 3 stars to the developers for making it work with third-party cameras. There are not many other things to mention about this app.

It is pure garbage. It doesn't even work with my camera. It keeps telling me to connect the WiFi. It still cannot find the WiFi when I try to connect it. It's a complete joke. A $200 camera and an app that costs less than a dollar? This is a waste of time. Get a better camera or an app with better functionality from another manufacturer.

With S8, connected WiFi App couldn't view the full screen due to S8. Therefore, no view of the camera. Select Record. No recording. This app is a waste of driver attention. This app has no value. It is better to use the dash camera alone.

My Akaso V50x can be connected, but files cannot be transferred to my phone. It is extremely slow and unusable to take photos or videos. The app asks for too many permissions. It doesn't need to be able to make phone calls, which is absurd. But it works perfectly without it.

Works. Developers should make it possible for the app to display speed and other information when viewing GPS videos from the dashcam. Other features such as record and share or live video to mobile could be added. It's a great platform but developers must improve it.

It is a very cheap, useless waste of money. I purchased a china no-name dashcam and was then asked for this application to connect. It was not able to do so. After connecting once, it disconnects in under 30 seconds. All connections to the dashcam fail due to an "unstable connection". The distance between my phone's dash cam (which was literally 10 inches) was also a problem. This app and any other dash cam asking for it are not recommended.

The code for registration is not available in this App. When you attempt to register the code, an error message is displayed that says "Insufficient balance". This message is displayed on a phone that has free calls and texts. It is not possible to view the DashCam settings and videos without the code.

Initial connection to Wifi failed, but the app couldn't be connected to my camera. After taking the microSD out, I was able to transfer files to my computer. However, the Wifi connection is no longer there (much like support). It was the most expensive purchase that I made in this entire year.

The app connects to dashcam, can start/stop video and access files. However, the app is unable to access photos or videos. This app does not allow you to share or download photos from your dashcam. It is useless without this feature.
