Three stars is all I can give because it's almost impossible for me to complete the levels without paying money. You get the exact same rewards if you complete a level. You should get more rewards for getting higher. You get annoyed that the rewards are increasing in number but not getting any better.

Over the years, I have lowered it by one star. It's hard level expectations are clear to me. They tell you what you should expect. But when there isn't one they will let you know. I want to encourage you to use power-ups and coins in order to make it through it. I think that this should only be reserved for really difficult levels... Give us a break! PLEASE! It's okay. There should be more diversity in the concept of challenges.

Although it is possible to gain levels without having to spend money, each level can be very difficult. You will be rewarded with lots of coins and power-ups at the lowest levels. However, the rewards increase in number and are far less frequent as you progress. This makes it tempting to spend more money to obtain the power-ups you need to keep moving ahead.

Update: Months later, I am still playing and I currently have level 1543 (! I have never needed to pay money in order to progress. Some levels can be frustrating and it is hard to go back and repeat the same thing over and again. However, I am a patient person. Also, you can join a group. You can join any team. All team members are allowed to request life, but they don't need to be paid for. You get five coins for every life you grant.

Match 3 is my favorite game and I was stuck at home so I downloaded it today. So far, I'm at level 180. This is my experience: It is great fun in the beginning. Although the boards can be quite easy, they are difficult at higher levels. However, it is not impossible to win. To break most obstacles, you need power ups. No power ups equals no win. They will tell you that they'll get on top of it, but they don't want to because they need your money.

This game is fun, however there are too many levels to keep you busy trying to beat them all. Now, I am stuck at a level with 28 moves and I haven't been able to clear the board. It's been too often that I have failed to clear the board on levels above me. This is getting so tedious that it's no longer fun. I will pass one level and then move on to the next. Then I find myself stuck at the same level for several days.

Although it's fun, you will eventually need to buy different items to move up the levels. Although I do not mind paying the initial fee, it is extremely expensive to continue buying coins, tnt and hammers to advance. It keeps cash flowing to the developers of the game, but it doesn't make sense for me to have to pay money every month to ensure I have enough tools to continue my progress.

The game is very enjoyable. The way it is meant to work, and the most difficult part of the game, I agree with. It's funny that coins I earned keep going missing after losing a level. When I return, I find that I don't have enough act coins. I also know I haven’t used them. It makes me want to delete the game.

At level 459, I am fed up! Although the first few levels can be a good way to start, it has gotten so bad that I now need at least one booster to win every level. Recently, I had unlimited life and boosters for one hour and won only 3-4 levels. This was my breaking point. You will need to invest big bucks or attempt 10+ levels in order to progress. Rarely do you see the cute mini-games featuring the King. In the past 2 weeks, I have had zero and only one. It's misleading advertising. Ed

It's a great game but it is definitely designed to get you spending money. Every level was completely rigged. Nearly every game finishes with one move to win. However, it costs you 900 coins for each additional move. You can't win again until you have all your coins. You win, like magic. It's a complete ripoff to pay anything. It is better to not pay and still get the same benefits.

This game is my favorite. It can be very difficult at times, but you always get the reprev and are ready to go for the next. It's the only one that has ever held my interest. All the advertisements for this game promote levels that don't exist. Minimum up to the 4000th level. Please elaborate

It's not something I mind doing a couple of times. The lack of advertisements makes this game more enjoyable than any flaws. Yes, I can get stuck on one level for a long time but there are no ads after each game. This game is a great time-killer.

Clear and crisp graphics. You get timely spins. They have few side games, and are very easy to learn. You won't be pushed to spend on more stuff. They don't offer any perks like extra coins, giveaways days or other perks. However, they do provide stress relief and challenging times. I still love the game.

It's fun, but it can take a lot of time to finish each level. This doesn't bother my mind. The only problem is the 5 life limit. After that, you cannot play for a significant amount of time. Get rid of all the lives to make this game more enjoyable. You can play each level as many times as you like. In less than 10 minutes, you can complete 5 lives. It can be very frustrating.

If there are no power-ups available, I will play levels 30-50+ times to get the next level. While there are many ways to get coins once you have started a new area you will find more difficult and very hard levels towards the end, making it harder to make coins. To move on, I feel compelled to purchase a pack of power-ups and coins.
