The hardware is great, however the app needs to be improved in terms of usability. It is imperative that I can control my devices immediately and not have to go through multiple steps to get there. The app starts slowly and then displays a list with rooms that you can choose from, followed by a list listing all the devices. Although it seems logical and intuitive, the process is not fast or easy. Widgets could help solve this problem. They allow you to position the device's On/Off buttons right on your home screen. We hope the developers are paying attention!

The app is difficult to use, and not intuitive. You may find that adding a device does not work as you expect, but it eventually will. There is one major problem. The app can mistakenly claim that Shelly is connected if you enter your Wi-Fi password incorrectly. You should be able to see the invalid password.
