VLC for Android for PC

The app is great, it's been around for years and I have never had any problems. The playlists are not working properly since the new update. The whole app would freeze up when I press play. The music plays but it freezes. I must force close the app. It works well when I use the resume button that appears in the audio tab. However, it would be great to have the ability to view my playlist without the app freezing. VLC is a great program, but VLC on my smartphone doesn't work well for me.

This app has been my favorite for many years. I have never experienced any problems. It started sometime around the time that I was loading a video. The VLC icon spun the whole time, as if it were trying to load. The video was playing perfectly. It wouldn't open, which made me angry. It's truly unfortunate. This is the most popular media viewing app in the App Store.

It's almost as good as its desktop counterpart. The app is capable of playing almost any media you require, even without the need for add-ons. The shuffle feature is the main complaint. Instead of taking your entire music and creating a playlist, it just grabs random songs. This isn't a problem, but the program doesn't remove the song from any future randoms. You will still hear many of the same songs looped regardless of how large your playlist. The Shuffle button likes to go away at random. It doesn't display ads, which is an added bonus.

This app has been a favorite of mine for many years. However, I noticed that the artificial distortion is affecting my videos. The extra noise is not noticeable in other video players. It's so noticeable that it can be irritating to your ears. I don't know what codec could do that. This is not what the computer software does. This happens with all videos. Other apps can play the videos just as well.

It's great to watch videos, but not so much for music listening. The app doesn't appear to allow you to play any song in any order, such as alphabetical or shuffle. It also seems to remove songs from playlists that I have created. It is still a good option to watch video files.

Excellent, but could use some improvement. The app crashes and then shuts down at random on my older Android Samsung smartphone. This could be caused by another application or VLC not responding to my request and then crash. VLC media player crashes or my phone restarts, and VLC media player closes. It scans your media for new media. You have to wait until it loads the library. Even with my older phone, it does the same thing. This can be annoying and take up to 10 minutes to listen to some music. Another problem is fixing album art.

There are some serious issues with this app. 1. An audio Bluetooth device can cause a noticeable audio delay. This issue has not been reported by any other apps. 2. The app doesn't allow me to delete or rename videos. The app doesn't allow me to rename video files. Other players that I have tried have these problems, so they are easily fixed.

A bad interface is not worth the utility. For one, it is important to have the ability to stop the browser from scrolling song names on smartphones. It is not well designed and requires too much attention. It is not visible in VLC when opening clips; it will cause the clip to start over from the beginning.

This app used to be great for music and video, but it has been terrible since its last update. It's constantly glitching and changing folders, randomly deleting playlists, and doesn't play any videos. It's sad that it has gone so badly.

It works well and allows you to adjust the playback speed. It is a problem when I can play more than one file at a time. It will jump to another file if the file was in the playlist I have played previously. It just appears for a half second after I choose the file from the original destination.

Overall, it's a great experience. It works smoothly and plays all of my files. Shuffle is my only problem. Shuffle often plays the same songs over and over again, repeating the tracks even on the same day. Shuffle should not repeat the same track until everyone has had at least one chance to listen, day in and day out. It doesn't matter if I enable "history", but it does not make any difference.

If you don't know where to go in your playlist, or where audio or video was paused while it played, start the track again. Video will stop if you are listening to it while locked screen is displayed. The video will stop playing in the background. It will start from the beginning, not where it left off when you restart video. This is a terrible thing, it makes video difficult to use and very inconvenient.

It's not a very good phone experience. The display mode can make it easy for you to forget what track is playing. It is also difficult to maneuver the scrubbar near the end. There would be +10/-10 buttons that could prove useful. In general, larger controls will be appreciated. It is preferable to have a large, only controls, without a list mode. Too fast is the restart track dialog.

Although it works, it is quite frustrating. It casts videos for 5 minutes, but then the stream stops. It is impossible to set the stream to stop. Even worse, the app doesn't remember your location so the stream just starts from the beginning. Chromecast is not compatible with this app, and that is 99 percent of the purpose I'm trying to use it.

It takes forever to scan and process media files. You can't view files until they are complete. It takes well over 20 minutes to scan and then parse files. It is absurd. The process of creating thumbnails should take no more than a few seconds. It would be more efficient if the thumbnails were generated when I opened the file.
