1.1.1.1: Faster & Safer Internet for PC

It doesn't alter the IP address but it is a good tool to have, particularly if a game has displaying a loading sign. If this 1.1.1.1 connection is established, the loading sign disappears and the game can run very well. It also allows you to unblock certain blocked sites locally, like Facebook and Twitter. One thing. It doesn't alter your IP address so it isn't very secure to use in countries that don't allow freedom of expression. It's a great app otherwise.

I have found 1.1.1.1 WARP to be a straightforward secure DNS changer. It does everything it promises and works without any problems. Personal preference would be for an app that includes an app firewall, but it does what its intended purpose is.

It's alright. It prevents snooping and keeps no logs. Individual applications can be excluded. However, IP is shared with your website or other service. It is not possible to exclude YouTube and Photos from the exclusion list. This should really be up to the customer, if they don't need backups, or YouTube functioning. It's a simple hack that will keep your child safe on your smartphone.

This app seems to have been inconsistent since the major Cloudflare downtime in July or June. It works great when it does. It is now a constant task to turn it off to make my internet work again. This was not an issue before the outage. I tried switching between wifi and cellular connections, as well as going into airplane mode. However, only two options have restored internet service: a reset of the phone or disable this app. This is just too much hassle.

It is quite easy to use VPN. Good speeds when you have a good WiFi connection. It's slow over 4G, and half of the websites and apps don't load any content. Traffic gets blocked. The trusted network feature is probably the worst thing about the app. The trusted network feature will cause it to pause when you connect to it, however this only happens the first time that the network is added. You will need to flip the coin after that because it only turns on about 50% of the times when you connect to trusted networks.

It is not something I like. If I use a VPN to connect to my office network, it blocks my access. If I want to switch cell towers during my commute, the VPN app must be turned off in order to reconnect to any other network. VPNs should be easy to use. However, I find it frustrating that the VPN can add another layer of risk. When everything is working, I don't notice any speed increases. It's not worth it.

There are some issues such as not connecting, disconnecting or working that require attention. The log files will be scanned and accompanied by a bug report. Once it is better, I'll give the rating of four stars. It does what it says and works. Four stars are awarded for its innovation and utility. It's also intuitive and easy to understand. Suggestions: A pause/stop & restart button, and a host listing for custom domains.

Every now and again, disconnects. Although a great idea, the execution is sloppy. It could even pose a danger to users. For example, you might turn on the toggle and think that you are safe. But, after some time you look at the app, you discover that it has changed to off. This means that ISPs can see everything you have been doing. This issue needs to be fixed.

It's a great solution for people who don’t have Android Pie. This does what it should without any BS. It would be great to be able to easily add an option or widget to the Android notification panels. Other reviews have some comments: I like the key icon, but that's an Android feature. The app developer can't do anything about it. It's a nice feature that shows up for me to know that I am connected. Speed - There won't be any difference in your download speed, so a speed test will not tell you anything. This app should make websites load faster if you connect through it. You might find this more useful if you are interested in learning about DNS, but it basically allows your phone to connect almost immediately to websites.

OH. MY. GOD. The speed of my phone's internet connection has increased by several times! It was unexpected that it could help so much. This app lets my phone load images and web searches in just a fraction of the time it used to take. It takes only 2-3 seconds to load videos, whereas it used to take up 10 minutes before. Phenomenal! Please excuse me as I raise my jaw off the ground! This makes it possible to make cellular data-only connections faster! It's great for those times when public WiFi is not available or you are out of town.

Although I do try to keep the app open as much as possible, battery life, especially standby, takes a dive when the app is running. My phone has a very poor battery life. Sometimes, connection can become slow or stop completely, and I have to shut down the app until it re-establishes. This shouldn't be necessary.

If it is slow, or doesn't connect to certain choices, you can go to your apps settings to change it. I did this and it now runs smoothly and quickly. The app works perfectly now. Aside from the speed/encryption of this app, and its creation time, it has no advertisements. Apps are a joke. They are not caring about users. They are not mine and I will not pay for them to be removed. If I don't want to see ads from you, then you're done.

It was my hope that this would work. But it didn't. Spotify won't connect to data with this turned on. It seemed that WARP was more slowing down than it speeded up things. DNS queries for some applications/websites literally take forever. The DNS query will sit there spinning trying to establish a connection. It did sometimes work perfectly. It's not something I want to leave until it is working better.

Amazing!! This DNS resolution is by far the most effective! This is the same problem I had with slow internet requests and streaming videos. Keep up the good work, guys! This app works great! When WARP first came out, this app was very useful for me. The idea of greater privacy appeals to me. It has not been reliable for the last month. My data connection is erratic, and apps, websites, and pages don't load when WARP Active is active. This makes it almost useless. It is impossible to use the phone without it.
