ALC SightHD for PC

It is a great camera. This app is a struggle for me. This app is not well-designed and takes a lot technical knowledge with little guidance. Although I am now comfortable with it, I think that it still needs some work. Finally, my problem with connecting to my WiFi was that my camera wasn't working. The list didn't show it. A quick email to ALC revealed that the problem was that your network's name cannot contain spaces or other special characters. It would have been great to know.

The camera had many positive reviews. My mistake. I didn't read all the reviews. Are there other apps I could use? Is the bug going to get fixed? The app loads in almost one minute. It only shows what happened during the motion. The app is extremely glitchy, and only 2 to 3 of its features work.

The latest update has made it impossible to view motion detection or view events. The error message I get when trying to download an event is that it has been canceled. Today morning, I was alerted by someone calling my doorbell. However, it was impossible to see who they were at my house. The screen went black even though I was connected. Ironically, I can view the screen by simply opening the program. It seems that the problem is in events. Ring must fix this issue immediately to gain new customers.

This app has been with me for many months. Although the camera is great, it doesn't work well with the app. You don't have much control over the settings. The camera's sensitivity cannot be adjusted so it records every car that drives by our house, even if they are not nearby. The audio function won't work if someone rings the doorbell. They can't hear our voice. Aside from all this, my new phone can't communicate with the doorbell due to a security problem.

Camera on sale.. I thought, "great deal." This is what I think. Cam works well when it is working, but disconnects constantly from WiFi, night vision is only 10 feet, or 65, 45, etc. Every time it disconnects or goes dark, I must reset the damn thing. My old phone can be used with an app to take better photos with far less effort and stress.

It is a very good camera. The video quality is excellent. It would be great if the app could also record video. It doesn't record well. It takes forever to review videos because the buffer must be downloaded or waited for it to complete. That's only if it recorded any. Most cumbersome app ever. I wish the app was as efficient as possible. Terrible!! !

It's pretty much useless. It's a phone ring when you push the bell. However, it takes f o.r.e.r for the app open and connect so you don't have to answer any questions. Then you can click on an event to view the details. This takes f.o.r.e.r to buffer so it is not very useful. It's likely to change to a Ring.

It is horrible! The list does not include my home WiFi. I attempted to use the generic Xfinity network but it didn't work. I also forgot my password and can't find the WiFi settings. The equipment was great value for money. That's why I am giving it 2, and not 1 stars. It's 2019! Please optimize your software or else I will return my hardware.

Installation was straightforward, although the directions do not explain how easy it is. The communication with the caller was slow, but it works. The apps require a lot more work, as we've said many times. Signaling is excellent, as are the pic quality and field-of-view. This product is hard to beat once the negatives have been addressed.

It has not uploaded anything to Google Drive for the last 5 days. There is no indication that the service suddenly stopped. It won't let me link any cloud accounts. It also refuses to launch the app when I attempt to access a notification from my lockscreen or make a phone call. This app requires someone with a good understanding of the basics.

It works for some time, but then the camera just stops working. It picks up great, but it is difficult to see as the camera keeps disconnecting. Sometimes, I need to take the camera out for a reset. It would be a great deal to have good quality and pay a good price. It has been tried several times: delete the app, uninstall the program, go through all the settings, and still no luck. Family and friends are searching for security cameras. I do not think this brand is worth recommending.

This app is a frustration experience. It gets 2 stars and 0 thumbs down. It is terrible! It worked on multiple android and mac devices. It doesn't function on Android as it needs network settings which are not accessible on this phone. It's too bad that they didn't inform their customers. This app is terrible and the camera itself is average.

The doorbells were functional and very easy to use. The only problem is that the app does not send me notification for motion/motion near the doorbell. This is very frustrating as I want to be able to see who's outside my home before the doorbell rings. The motion doesn't work as it used to when the sensors were first installed months ago. I tried changing the settings but no success. I give it 3 stars.

It worked great even without Android 12. When I try to open the app, it crashes. Cameras. Android versions before. Never have I ever had any issues. It's the second time I have contacted customer support. Fix it or I'll buy another brand of camera systems.

Poorly designed and slow to react to motion events or doorbell rings, the app's audio delay can often be so great it makes it impossible to use. The ALC doorbell hardware may also be a problem, however, the ALC app and ALC hardware create a horrible user experience. App experience with several high-end Samsung S10/S21/Tab 6,/Tab5Se and Motorola midrange phones. The ALC was replaced with the Eufy Duo.
