Blue Letter Bible App For Windows

This app has been my favorite for 2 years on different platforms. It comes with the KJV preloaded. The majority of issues that I encountered with the app after more use were solved. The app has a few features that I highly recommend. Webster's 1828 dictionary Search should be expanded as it shows only verses that contain the exact word, not the plural. Too fast narrator of the KJV Audio. You can either choose another one (Max McLain) or slow down the narration.

It's a great tool! This is my first smart media device that I have used to access the Bible. This app is possible because of you. Well done. You could have more control over the audio and viewing of the video. However, this is not important. The only thing to look forward too is for God's Word, Scripture and the Gospels. Much obliged, Edward

It is a great tool to help you study the scriptures. The number of resources available is amazing. It is the best app for studying the original text. Note: When looking at interlinear Bible panes, I'd love to have default viewing options. The inline view is my preferred viewing option, even if it does not include transliteration and Strong's number references. 90% of the times I use the inline view. These options are required each time I open this view. A minor nuisance. It would be wonderful to have a next/previous verse option for this view!

Comparing translations side-by-side is very useful for understanding passages. Cross references and integrated definitions are extremely helpful in deeper understanding. You can listen to audio options. You can choose from multiple reading plans and track your progress. Other app reading plans only prescribe passages according to a calendar day. If you miss one day of the reading plan, you will miss it all. But BLB lets you read at your own pace and you won't miss any. This is my bible app of choice for studying.

Although it's an acceptable app, the program skips entire chapters of my reading plan if I haven't reviewed them. The app has skimmed over three chapters multiple times. It is very annoying. It's also impossible to see past readings. Although it's an excellent app, there are some missing features.

It's a great app. I have not been bothered by ads, requests for 5-star reviews or other solicitations. You don't need internet access and it includes many translations. It is easy to navigate, it works well with search, and the extra features such as bookmarks, notes, and highlight are all intuitive. This app is one of the best, and it's completely free. This app has it all.

This tool is a great addition to my Bible study. Recently, however, Interlinear has been causing me problems. The problem with the Interlinear feature crashing during use was fixed in an update from August. Maybe it's time to update again? This is the one feature that I use most often in the app, so it makes it almost useless.

This app is great. It would be great if you could swipe right/left across the screen to change chapters. It is difficult to read the blue font in dark mode, especially when cross references are included in the pericope text. Edit 21 June 2022: Also, it would be useful to have the option to change the default mode of the interlinear section to either regular or reverse interlinear (my preference).

At first, I did not notice any Strong Tools within the app. However, the app does have these tools. There aren't any menus or indications to interlinear once you open text, but you can touch the screen and they will pop up! Each version of interlinear has different advantages and is laid out in a slightly different way. You should be aware that searches made on the internet and in apps will also open in their app counterparts. This is not good.

It is simply amazing. It is truly a masterwork. Despite that, I'm not satisfied with the audio bible. This app deserves 4 stars. The only problem with this app is that it pauses whenever you receive a notification from your phone. This is difficult to manage while listening and driving. Another problem I face is the fact that the "continuous" function can only play three chapters before the screen says "loading." After this, it stops loading completely and the app closes.

It is my favourite Bible app. The different versions are great for comparing the two. (Parallel) It's great that you can highlight and bookmark under various categories. It's great to be able search for particular words and phrases. You don't have to be connected to the internet to view KJV. This allows you to access it from your plane, or anywhere else there is an internet service.

Wonderful resource! It's a great resource! My only wish is that there were more ways to track progress. There is a progress bar, but it is difficult to visually see how much progress has been made. I would love to be able show progress as a percentage of completion or "days completed". Thank you guys.

BLB is a great tool. I have been using it about a year. However, the menus are sometimes clunky and I find daily reading to be a frustrating thing. Even after marking it as read, the program will occasionally go back to previous days. It will finish the day's reading if I mark it as read again. I don't have any other way of getting back to that day except to do a search.

This Bible app is simple and I really love it. I don't need any distractions, just useful tools. It is so easy to color-code my highlights, and look back at the entire verses within one group. It's something that I wanted for more than a year. The android app needs to be updated regarding color options. The android app is easier to use than the iOS version. However, it does not allow me to customize my color preferences as much.

This app was my favorite until I got a new phone. It was a wonderful app that allowed me to take notes and highlight verses. I also saved in various folders. None of my backups were available when I downloaded the app to my new smartphone. I reached out to the company via email, but have not received a response. This install doesn't have a backup option. This app has been uninstalled twice and I've tried to reinstall it again.
