Sony | Headphones Connect App For Windows

Simple interface. It would be great to see more screen help. I was able to remember a few of the functions after the tutorial. It works fine otherwise. Hasn't crashed. With 1000MX4, seems to work well. Sony has done a wonderful job fixing the bugs, which I greatly appreciate. It is important to note that when people say their headphones or app don't work properly, it often means the music/media app doesn't work well. Sony stuff works. Try another app to see if it works. YouTube is one example.

It is time to bring back the noise cancelling optimizer feature. Although the headphones should be "optimized straight from factory", it doesn't seem to work nearly as well as before. My WH1000XM3 headphones are the most effective noise cancellers that I have ever used. The XM4s, XM5s and XM5s simply can't match my WH1000XM3s, despite the better quality and more advanced technology. Sony, let me know when you will be able to add this feature. I will be looking at other manufacturers until then.

The app is overall good. The interface is not well designed. The interface lacks organization and is confusing in terms of the features. The battery life of the adaptive sound control is very high. It's not a feature I use often due to its high battery consumption.

This app is terrible. I just started to use it. It loses connection to my headphones, and keeps loading. Even when I'm listening to music through the headphones. It could be that I am using YouTube music. I am currently using Dolby Atmos on my smartphone and have it set up nicely with the phone equalizer. This app is not functioning properly.

This headset was not what I expected. The noise cancellation is terrible at best. They are not well worth the cost. No matter where it is set, sound will bleed through. Sound is too muffled and loud. The battery can die too quickly and when the volume drops below 40%, the sound will become garbled and staticy. You need to switch it off in order to complete your call. The cheapest neckbands have so far provided the best value for money.

The app is very ineffective. It crashed constantly, so I had to remove it and install it again during set up. Then it wouldn't open the next day. It will open if the headphones are removed, but it crashes as soon it connects to them. Even though the tutorial was only images, it couldn't be viewed until I switched to another Wifi network. It takes forever to locate any features in the horrible UI. This app seems worse than Soundcore, Skullcandy and Sennheiser.

The app is great. However, I wish the battery status would have been displayed. Sometimes I have to plug in my Bluetooth headphones when they show low battery LEDs. I want to know how low it is without having to unplug and reconnect them. A minor nitpick: dark mode synced to OS dark mode. A bright phone is my preference, but I prefer dark apps. It feels outdated to have the main phone color be changed.

It's a great app, but the widget is on the notification bar and is active while the app is in the background. It would make sense to upgrade the app with adaptive noise cancellation controls, and an on-off switch that allows for quick adjustment. A notification widget is already in place that can be used as a player for music. It seems simple enough. I do have a pair WH-1000XM2s that work well with the app. Please update this app.

These headphones have terrible sound quality. The headphones constantly disconnect from other devices. It never happened to my Bose. It is urgent that you fix this problem. When I listen to music, they keep dropping off my calls. They are the most horrible headphones that I've ever owned. It is way too expensive to buy a device that can't connect to other devices.

The interface was designed by who? The app has many features and messages. To adjust something you need to hide the feature and expand it. Get a consultation for free. Get a layout for your phone's settings from Apple. You will get the best app if you copy them. You can't invent if you don't have the right ideas.

The latest update has caused volume and noise cancellation to be ruined! My hearing is impaired by the Ambient and Noise Cancelling announcements. The app's noise cancellation check boxes make a noticeable difference. This app has been uninstalled, and I have reinstalled it. Both phones have been factory reset but that didn't help. The earbuds have poor performance and are too costly.

Sony, your application is almost blind-accessible. You can now focus on setting up the equalizer with all the bands you have the ability to change. Screen reader cannot read the clear base slider. It isn't labeled clear, but it does have a percentage between 0 and 100%. It is important that the clear base slider be labeled. We also need to label all other sliders so we can identify which one we are changing.

Overall, the app is excellent. They don't make you create an account, which is a huge plus. The only problem I have with tap controls is the way they are set up. You have to choose controls from different groups. One group lets you adjust ANC/Ambient sounds settings while another allows you to play media. But you cannot mix them. For a mixture of media controls and ambient sounds, I'd like each tap/hold to have a different function.

The worst part of all headphones that I have ever owned is speak-to chat. It can easily be activated by hair moisture or pressure. It is the most annoying thing I have ever had. Other than that, I like the app and how customizable it is. It is frustrating and inconsistent to switch it on/off through headphones. Perhaps it would help to have the ability to modify the controls for your headphones?

The app is difficult to use because the main features, such as Ambient Sound Control for me, aren't always in the forefront of your attention. You can also see a notification about a pair of headphones that have been updated to improve stability, or another feature that you should test. This pop-up is not visible until the app loads. You can only change the EQ from the widget, but I usually forget to adjust it.
