HeimLink App For Windows

It's still being tested. Some tweaks needed***UPDATE*** You may have noticed recently that you might be receiving pink, blue or green video. Hemlink had just introduced a new product. I can swear that I didn't have these issues until the new product was introduced. The service is slow and sluggish. The live feed is delayed.

It was purchased a while back, but I haven't had the chance to put it in yet. The product has been installed in the last 2 weeks. It is so easy to use and runs very smoothly. Installation was quick and easy. It was so quick to turn it on after the power cut. Zooming in and out is so easy, the preset areas are so precise every time I go manually to them.

It was nice to finally get my two very good camera's. It was easy to connect via wifi. A plus is the wide lens, which allows for pan viewing and audio talk with flood lights. I appreciate the possibility of an ip connection. It's been 9 years since I was with another brand. With Heimvision's clearer, crisper view I am happy. It's worth 5 stars, however, the glitch to reset and refresh the offline camera screen freezing (saying idle cutoff viewing) is frequently a problem. Also no email alerting. These problems will be fixed and I'll buy two more cameras. Many thanks.

Software is just as important as hardware. The software is terrible. Although the camera takes great pictures, it has major flaws in its software. The camera will lose its connection. It will not connect to an app. The camera rarely responds to commands to move. Sometimes it can take minutes, sometimes even hours for the camera to respond to an app command. It doesn't record well and is often unintelligible. It would have been a 4, or 5 if it weren't for the software. It's a bundle deal, so it gets 1 star.

I have 3 cameras and they work well. It needs some work to be supported. You won't receive notifications if you don’t pay for cloud services. You can pay the monthly fee for cloud services, which i do. You are notified about everything. I get an email notification when a cloud passes. It records all the information, even though I set it for low sensitivity. It alerts me on 3 cameras almost every minute so I don't look at them anymore.

Camera quality is excellent. The app crashes when I try to turn off my camera via the app. To get the camera back to live, I have to restart my phone. I waited for it to turn on for about 30 minutes. It didn't. The motion tracking is not the greatest. It wouldn't move if I was walking at a slower pace. The upgraded camera is also available. I hope this helps. EDIT: If my phone is not connected to the internet it still works perfectly. It was interfering with other things.

My opinion on my external security camera is not clear. If I was in control, there are some things I'd address. The camera captures every insect that passes by, despite being set at the lowest sensitivity. Although I set the camera to not record at a certain time, it never stops. It would be nice to pause cloud playback in order for me to stop the recording and inspect the visual events. The picture looks great and there have been no connection problems.

It works for a week (HM311 outdoor surveillance camera), but then it stops working. The message says, "Uh-oh! Your device is not connected" 80-90% of time. It's not me. It is located 12 feet away from its access point, which is also 15 feet away from the router. It works every time that I log in to the app if I manually reset it using a ladder. It was still not working until about one week after that. The app has not been updated for 3 months.

It is difficult to connect. It is difficult to connect. It takes several attempts. It is difficult to see at night compared with other cameras that I have owed. It should allow me to monitor my animals throughout the day, but I can't. There's always an error in connection and a reload. You can't rewind the playback to get to where you want it to be. It's an absolute pain in the arse. It's also not a great place to do business. You get the exact same answer every single time.

It's not the worst, but it isn't the best. Even with lights turned on, the camera defaults to night mode and you can't adjust the sensitivity or schedule when that may happen. Intelligent tracking does not seem to work correctly. Although the camera is supposed to automatically adjust its position in order to locate a person, it has so far failed. Although it will catch my nine year old son in my bedroom, I doubt it would be able to do anything else.

It was a great surprise to me that night vision turned off gave the most clarity and quality, even with no reflections or glare off the glass. Even though night vision was set to automatic, I didn't find the night vision quality any worse. All that was fine until it finally decided to disconnect from its purpose. It is usually once per day.

If you buy two units, the card readers won't work and they will ask for your money. Although the extreme zoom zoom zooms in, it is impossible to control. The PTZ often is not responsive. It could be due to the wireless network. It's not bad considering my wireless speed is only 400 Mbps. Both units had sound problems. They are not expensive cameras, so do not expect too much.

Excellent device, reasonably priced... (HM202A). The live feed takes around 10 seconds to load once the app has been opened. Even then audio and video can take a while to play. It seems the "cloud" doesn't work if the SD card that you have in your camera is used instead. The app does not automatically take you to the event notifications when you tap the button.

This camera has been installed in my home for about 4-5 days. Amazing app. Excellent Playback. It has a great interface. It has two different views of clips during motion activation. Cloud and SD card. UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!! APP officially has been sucking for about a month. Alerts are sent for motion. It says "offline" every time I attempt to view it via Camera. Heimvision must fix this

Although the camera is decent in quality, it will not stay connected. The camera disconnects from wifi quite a bit per day. My other apps also crash when I try to access the app. My phone freezes when they crash. The video also has a significant delay. The video is not impressive to me.
