La Crosse View App For Windows

It's a great app. It was initially difficult to connect my station, but it was possible due to my phone's network security. It was easy to reconnect the station after I turned it off. You can then reconnect security, and it will still work fine. It could be an issue people are having with the app not working. It works exactly as it was intended.

It's impossible to connect to the wifi It took me over two hours to set it up. The most difficult thing about setting up my wifi device is that I have to use the app. It is difficult to set up. It did transfer data from my phone at one point. I was stuck at 31% for twenty minutes. Stop and restart. This is a weather station that I have never used.

It worked fine for around a year before it suddenly stopped connecting to WiFi. I tried re-enabling it, setting up factor resets, and changing SSID's. It didn't work. Zi tried to delete the device, then re-add it to the app. The WiFi was set up again. The app itself is very simple, and it's rarely used. I mostly just stare at the screen on the wall. It's nice to have temp alerts so that I can be aware of any issues with power or HVAC while I'm away.

It's not the best software, but it is better than any I have used. The device won't set up with the latest Android version. To connect, I had to use an older tablet. However, it dropped connection at 37%. Multiple times, with multiple tablets/phones, I attempted to reset it. The sensors work only with the unit. This entire package is garbage. Save your money, and purchase another brand.

There are constant issues. I had to buy a second router in order to connect the 2Ghz network. My 5Ghz router was not working. App freezes and doesn't update for several days. The sensor that I had added to the list has now disappeared. I won't buy any other lacrosse products. A $49 Risepro Station with 3 sensors has never caused me any problems. Just wanted more sensors.

If I was La Crosse I would fire all those involved with the creation of the application. It is one of the most complicated POSs I've ever seen in an application. Without erasing the second and third set categories, alert points cannot be placed on any category. The monitor does not connect easily to it! It is still not connecting to the monitor, despite there being simple directions. It should have connected automatically to the monitor. FAIL!

Overall, it was a frustrating experience. The V21-WTHv3 was purchased solely for remote use with the app. It worked great for 10 days, then stopped updating the app. It's okay if you just want an independent device with no app integration. However, if you need all of the features I recommend looking for another option. This seems to be a frequent problem with La Crosse.

Terrible. It's terrible. I have bought three and been struck out three times. For my needs as a weather station operator, I will be taking a new route. Even though I tried all of the troubleshooting and procedures, it refused to connect to my WiFi router. Engineer, I am focused on data center controls. I don't have the expertise or knowledge to solve this problem. The app is not up to par with the technology used in lacrosse.

WiFi on Andriod, as mentioned previously is not functional. Manually added the outside wind sensor, but no data was available in the app. I have been connected for over 12 hours with no data. Reset the station but no luck. I have changed my rating from 1. My data has been removed completely from the app. It seems that the station is working and not complaining about poor internet connectivity. However, there is no data available on the app. It's unlikely that I will be replacing the app if I need to go up onto the roof.

Today, we received the unit and have it installed. Only thing not working is the wifi connection. My Android phone is not compatible with many streaming devices that I have. The app doesn't offer any way to delete our account, including email address, location or name. To get technical data and UI working properly, it seems that basic information was not included. Please delete this code on our behalf, Developer. We are grateful.

Prior to this conversation, I had an awful review of the application. However, I was proved wrong by one of their developers. Most of the data available is being logged. Despite this, the UI still presents a horrible experience to the user. It is difficult to locate the information you need. You have to constantly refresh the app and search the menus to find it. No matter my settings, there is only one widget device that is available.

It is unstable and unreliable Accuracy of less than 4°? This is what you get when something is made in China. The app is now useless because my Wi-Fi won't stay connected. It's so frustrating to buy things that do not work the way they claim. Thanks La Crosse Tech!

It was a good experience overall, however I experienced real difficulties getting wifi to work after I accidentally tap something within the app. It refused to reconnect after that. To get the app to work, I had to install it on another device. It works great if you don't make a mistake. :)

View is okay. The View app provides me with my home weather statistics while I'm away. You can set up various alerts and weather warnings for your home. After a brief period, the WiFi stopped working on my La Crosse S82950 Weather Station. It was a temporary failure, so I purchased a second La Crosse S82950 weather station. After a couple of weeks, the WiFi stopped working. La Cross Customer Support sent me a new model of their weather station to replace the WiFi. Just finished installing the new station.

Most of the time, it doesn't work. It is difficult to connect Does not keep you connected. Update June 16, 2022. App is now dead. Hardware failure. We don't know. Cannot connect to WiFi I followed the instructions to disconnect and move other devices from wifi. No connection. La Crosse weather station will be heading to the trash can. Will look for a different brand.
