LaView NET App For Windows

Remote viewing with Laview P2P stopped working after the app update. All I get from them is "network exceptions". Laview tech support gave me a one-word response, and then it was crickets. Laview clearly knows about this problem, however they are not making any effort to fix it. The Laview One app works for remote viewing. Night motion detection is a false positive.

Like everyone else, it's the network exception. At first, I assumed it was my smartphone. After reading the reviews, I decided to try the la view app. It works well and the cameras are visible. The old version was great and I regret not having updated. I hope they fix it.

LaView hardware can be purchased at a fraction of the cost of other brands. If you plan to integrate your own software with the hardware, I would consider it a great deal. If you don't want to buy, then do not purchase: garbage software would be included with decent hardware. Why are we both paying for trash, even though it may seem cheap? Who would buy/pay for garbage? It's not possible, I believe. The software does sometimes work, but it is not always reliable. We were able to get it to work after contacting support/search ...) at our previous house. Even though I have the same login credentials, it is no longer possible to log in to the app after a while. The piece of rubbish is now my problem. You can only use the video in your home, but you are unable to control/play/monitor it from an App. P.S. P.S. The console can be very loud and is likely to consume a lot of power.

Updated in April 2019: Push is working again, adding stars and turning off auto updates. Updates can cause problems (push notifications, at most, cannot be set up anymore. This causes a push token error in September. Although the DVR works well, we strongly recommend that you do not autoupdate the app. Previous versions of this app are no longer available. Tech support is almost non-existent.

P2P was removed with the recent update. It worked perfectly until the last week, when the app updated. As my previous information was rejected, my p2p account vanished and I needed to make a new one. The QR code displayed on the P2P screen does not work so I can't add P2P. The cameras cannot be viewed outside of the home network because they don't have P2P access. This issue is not covered by any other internet site, even the laview.

Laview Connect app works great as of April 20, 2019. My android phone can be used to connect to my cameras, even if I'm not in my home area. FYI: I had an issue with my Laview camera and NVR connection. I was very pleased to find that laview's support team were extremely proactive. They took time but did solve the problem. This system has been with me for 18 months now and I am very satisfied.

Although I had followed the instructions to install this app, it did not recognize my QR code or attempt at manual input. I was only able to fix it after another reviewer suggested that we go back to version 4.4.1. This version was flawless. The latest version crashed and I had to reinstall it. It was necessary to install 4.4.1 again and repeat the entire installation process. It was pitiful to release an app that wasn't tested properly.

After a while, it stopped allowing me to see my cameras. The message said that network exception was encountered and it would not allow me to view my cameras. It works perfectly on iOS but is completely useless on my iPhone.

These systems are not compatible with the app. Their tech support is also not helpful. If they show up for payment, but can't fix the product, they then bail on customers, don't answer phones or respond to emails. It doesn't really matter whether the app works. In my situation, the app works only from my home network and not when I am away. It's about as reliable as a guard dog. Google should not be backing Laview. They're just as pure-minded as scumbags.

Update 4.7.1 fixes P2P. This is the main purpose of this app. As others noted, you get an error message from the network when you try to access P2P. To regain my camera access, I had to go back to 4.4.1. Their support was not available to me.

It worked. The app started to say that calling exceeded the maximum limit. The app was reinstalled. I tried to log in and out. There are no answers on the web. The current app cannot be used.

fix.. The old app was still available on my Note4. Great app. However, it won't work on my Samsung 8 because it doesn't support me. I cannot log in to my Samsung 8 cameras home to check on what is going on. Until you resolve it. This is why I gave it a star rating..it won't scan the QR code. Cantor Find says this app is full of garbage

I have figured out how to do it except for fast forward. This option is greyed out. Once you choose the one playback camera, it will be grayed out. This is no longer possible. Help!

Older version of Laview Net worked but only for wifi to p2p accounts. The newer version won't let me log into. Laview One app was found, I tried it, and it worked on both wifi and mobile networks. I'm gonna give it 1 star, unless they fix the problem.

If I am not at home, this app will not function! It's a complete waste of time if it can't be accessed remotely! The app is very basic and it's difficult to troubleshoot.
