If you're interested in using OfferUp - Buy. Sell. Offer Up on your PC or Mac, you may be wondering how to download the app and get started. Fortunately, there are many resources available online that can guide you through the process similar to this article.

OfferUp - Buy. Sell. Offer Up App For Windows

The app cannot be used as a seller. Uploading photos is difficult because they are shuffled. It can be difficult to find photos if you have many. The majority of potential buyers will not be interested in buying. There is no way to stop them from making bad plans. This should be included in the rating system. It is not valid for listings that are free, but the notification for saved searches takes 5 hours to show up and then the item has already been sold.

There are way too many advertisements! App seems stable, but it lacks key features. It is frustrating that you can't save the search type or radius you prefer. It defaults to local pickup within 10 miles. However, I want local pickup only. It also searches by zip code so 10 miles might be more than 20+. This is why I have to change it every time I use the app. It's a terrible design, which I assume is to make it easier for me to find more products. Did I forget to mention the ads?

Although the app is completely free, I do not want it to suggest things I may like. All pushed notifications must be disabled (which makes it hard to know when someone is trying to reach you). Sometimes, the app will default to turning notifications off after an update. It can be annoying and loud.

The slowest app, particularly when selling. It gets slower the more you upload. Very slow response time for message notifications. It is almost impossible to use. Total trash. They want you to pay them to market items. Plus, they will take 12.9% from all items shipped. If the buyer is paying too much shipping costs it doesn't make sense to ship anything. It's all junk.

The app can be slow and doesn't display notifications about new messages in time. Sometimes it takes days. It is frustrating to search for items that are for sale. You can't price-check and can't view the details without going into each item. You might also want to offer a "sale-pending" option to sellers. Overall, it was a great place to buy and sell.

The most frustrating experience I have ever experienced on a computer, or Android phone, or iPad was the one that required me to scan my credit card. The app asks you to scan your credit cards to confirm your identity. However, there are no instructions on how to do this. It doesn't let you enter card information on my smartphone. ALL THIS WAS STILL VERIFIED IN MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION.

It is important to be careful when promoting an item. Cancelling your trial subscription before the expiry of the promotional period (3 dsys), is not possible. It took me more than an hour to find the answer in FAQ or on the App. I can't seem to find the answer. Within the next few hours. Automatically, I'll be charged. It feels like I have been duped. Make sure you read all the fine print

Sellers need to be realistic about what they expect for the used items. It is not common for sellers to have items that are worn or damaged. You could at least clean the item before selling it for a very high price. You can also clean up an item before listing it at a high price. This is a good thing for people who share your enthusiasm for buying expensive items.

It is terrible, slow and unresponsive. On the computer, it runs smoothly, but on my two mobile phones, it takes over 2 minutes to see your messages. I also have a good internet connection. I would recommend it, but not very highly. We have offered up previous versions 2018 which were far superior to the current one. Instead of adding new features, why not just fix it?

Although the app works as expected, I find that notifications can be annoying. They were initially kept on my phone to respond to sellers and if there was a new listing. Now I use them to get items that are completely unrelated. It's impossible to disable what amounts to an internal notification for your house. If it does exist, it is so hidden that it may as well not be there. Tag spamming seems like it is not being addressed at all.

App is extremely slow. I am messaging someone and I minimize the app. Every time I try to open it again, it opens at my home screen and takes forever. Every single search requires me to change my search preferences, including removing the shipping option. It's great, but it is difficult to use.

It's been a pleasure to sell locally, and have shipped via this app. It has generated a lot of revenue and sales, so I rate it five stars. There are a few things I would like to point out. 1. If an item is flagged, they will remove all your listings. 2. They take a long time to reply to queries and if they do, it is usually miscommunication. It can sometimes take several emails before you get an answer. 3. Promoters would bring more sales, I wish.

This app has been made worse by them. It is impossible to scroll a single page without seeing a ridiculous ad. We can also manually turn off shipping via a drop-down list. It's easy to remember that I prefer no shipping. It doesn't mean that I have to view 500 items every 10th time I use the app. If this were true, I'd do a keyword research. You're already annoyed by your sellers when trying to purchase, so fix it!

07-13-23. Hidden trackers are included in this app. It is very difficult to use right now. It has improved a lot since the middle of last year. Now shows all of my items saved. This is very useful for following up on older item searches. A tiny 4-line message window with only 70% screen real estate is absurd. While "dark mode", is an improvement, the user should have the option to choose any background color from the 4 available. App quality is improving, however it's still limited due to poor design decisions.

After developer reply: My experience over the last 5 months was a mixed bag of good and bad. I had to reset the app and then never got into my chat/inbox the first time. It's a great platform. However, it has been frustrating lately. It takes 20 minutes to send a message, even if the platform is working. It seems like it slows down or freezes when something is important. It happens so often that it's a big headache.
