Ophelia GPS App For Windows

The app was installed. It is not possible to configure the app because one of its configuration screens is in Chinese. This means that I cannot use the app as I don't know what I need to do. Tech support was very helpful and friendly. They responded quickly by emailing me a screen capture. After that, I will update the review. The HS700 is a great plane, however I cannot see or use the advanced features of the app. Get rid of the CALL access. You don't need to use the app or fly drones.

The HS510 was purchased and I followed all the steps to connect my Samsung S9+ with Android 10. The drones can be seen and connected easily. The app does not allow data transfer and I receive an "overtime" message when I try to open it. As that was the only option, I switched to a static IP. No dice. I contacted the company to get an update. The latest version was already available to me. I asked for assistance through this forum. No dice. It is very disappointing, as it was my first purchase of a drone and the app does not work.

They don't need to have access to all of the phone in order for drone apps. The developers said nothing to me .... when I reached out. After the video was stopped being recorded, the app no longer records. The app shows it is recording, and the stream of video appears on my smartphone. Even though it confirms that the recording was successful when I end the recording, there are no videos. It's useless if it can't be recorded.

The app is garbage. The app refuses to connect to my phone, even though it shows my phone is connected to the HS700D. The app says "No Data", then says "Over Time". It worked my first attempt, and then it said Over Time. However, the app refuses to reconnect again. This is absolutely ridiculous. This isn't an isolated case, according to other commenters. This app must be fixed immediately.

V3.0.7 will not connect. It just gives an "overtime" error. This, although cryptic, indicates that the drone has been connected to your smartphone but the camera is not able to connect to it. You cannot control the drone using your phone. It was a good mistake. It works perfectly if you revert to version 3.0.5. Are you unsure how to restore? Google is your best friend. Turn off automatic updates to stay with the app that works.

It doesn't matter what brand your phone is, if it does not have sufficient memory to run the drone app, it's best that it doesn’t connect! Clear out all other apps, close them and turn off any Google app that is running. You can save your drone from being destroyed. The app should tell the user what is lacking in speed and memory. Free memory, radio frequency bands...etc.

It was my opinion that it is a common practice to allow the user to select between metric, standard or imperial units. It is well concealed if that option exists. Although I am aware that the metric system works better, I was raised using standard. Because I am old, I tend to see things in meters and not feet. Is there a way to adjust the altitude of the return home? A second option is also available. These two features are standard for any app of this kind and should not be overlooked. I give it 2 stars.

The hs720 is my favorite. It is absolutely wonderful. To connect to the internet and fly, I actually use an older Samsung prepaid phone. It works exactly like advertised. The pictures are excellent. Perfect RTH. Follow me. Controls perfect. Ideal for beginners like me. Practice is limited to the 5' level. I keep my flight parameters low and GPS on. It was a one-hour practice that took me to the next level. Make sure that you have at least 7 GPS for rth. The manual also states that the drone can rise up to 50 feet before it descends. The drone's battery lasts for 20 minutes, and takes 5 hours to fully charge. Holystone provided a battery for free by allowing you to write a review or feedback. These drones are usually $1000 if they have these features and high quality. You can use 16GB of your phone's memory. For photos and videos, you can use a micross 10 card.

Although the app is functional, I cannot use certain features because of weak GPS signals. My Samsung Galaxy S10 is working fine, but I was able to borrow a friend's galaxy 5s for testing. The app must be updated in order to function with newer versions of the phone.

Like many others, wait until the Drone Wifi pops up after you have connected to it (Holystone). It will ask if you wish to remain connected, clicking it. Click Yes to confirm. You will be able to connect your smartphone with the Drone, and receive the live video feed. Why two stars? The app is in translation mandarin, which doesn't make sense. There's also no instruction on how to use it.

UPDATE: To get the app connected, you must select "stay connected" in the wifi popup. The app connects very quickly and there is minimal latency to the live fpv stream. But the app isn't connecting to my drone. There aren't any instructions on how to fix this issue. Developers, please help.

To connect, you must have WiFi AC. Prime OS is a spin on Android OS. I downloaded it from a Chromebook equipped with WiFi AC. It worked perfectly there. Overall, a great drone at a reasonable price. You will need to change the language and forgo any other wifi networks. The drone will disconnect from your internet connection while searching for it. I only needed basic instructions. After finding the tile, it was able to control the drone using its phone's controls.

If your phone is 6 years old, don't be discouraged by compatibility. You have to agree on a line. It uses phone permissions to prevent regular phone operations disrupting your flight. For pairing, it only determines your status and the phone's identity. Are you annoyed that BT headphones have to identify the phone your trying to pair with in order to detect it? Duh.

Although it works, it is still a hassle. The app opens up and you will see the language option. I used it for many months before it became clear to me. If it doesn't connect the first dozen times, charge your batteries.

The app won't transfer GPS data from my Motorola phone. Although the Google Maps inset works, it does not transfer data to my Motorola phone. I tried all of the techniques, but it didn't work. It renders the drone useless. Tested on Samsung smartphone and the app worked perfectly. Holy Stone failed to inform potential buyers of this problem.
