If you're interested in using PS4 Second Screen on your PC or Mac, you may be wondering how to download the app and get started. Fortunately, there are many resources available online that can guide you through the process similar to this article.

PS4 Second Screen App For Windows

Do you need an app with no purpose? An app that claims it can do everything but actually does nothing, the second screen for Ps4 is the app you should be using to control your phone's screen. You get a meager screen navigation option and a textbox that won't work with most games.

Instantly, the app connected to my PS4. It works well as intended. I love the app's functionality. There are many ways you can control your PS4 using your smartphone. You can turn it on in rest mode, navigate to menus, and then type directly from your phone's keyboard into the PS4. This is why it can't integrate into the Playstation app like previously. When there are two apps, it doesn't make any sense. It is easier and more efficient to use one app.

It is garbage. It worked well for me for many years. However, after a PlayStation 4 update I was unable to reconnect for more than 2 years. A search revealed that there was no help available for this issue, other than the instructions on the screen which are often reprinted by everyone. One person did manage to change the wireless isolation. This is why it only gets a rating of 2.6! Sony, Booo! 5M downloads?? ?

Potential, but still needs to be improved. 1. Create a screen using a touchpad keyboard and touchpad. 2. Create a screen that looks like a remote control or media buttons. 3. All screens can be set to dark mode. If you are reading this, please combine all of the ps4 applications into one package. Great vision, mediocre execution. Thanks!! !

This is the most egregious move that Sony has made for "Remote Experiences". The Second Screen can only be used for the Remote Play Application. You cannot pause any game or use the PS button to browse the hub. This is infinitely more convenient than using the controller. To press down on the left or right, you will need to glance at your tablet/phone. You will find it frustrating when you have to look at your phone/tablet and press up or down on the touchscreen.

This App is great. However, I think the help section could have been more detailed. The controller functions work flawlessly on my Galaxy Note 8 at the moment. However, every time that I attempt to change to the second screen, it keeps saying "this screen not currently being used". This is odd because my system is on and I am playing a game. Please let me know if this is a mistake. If it's not, Playstation... you need to be more careful

Although I could connect to my PS4 to navigate the home menu, the app didn't allow me to navigate to any apps or games (I was trying to use the app for Netflix). The "use this feature to enter text" option doesn't work, so why bother? This app is almost worthless if I need to use the PS4 controller for navigation and text entry. Unfortunately, it's worthless.

It was my intention to send audio to my phone using Bluetooth or a wifi network. However, it does not seem to be possible. It's not worth a low rating because the name is misleading. You can't even use the phone as a second monitor. I don't know how you broadcast from your phone to your ps4 but you could. I got this idea because i had to route the tablet's sound to my pc to allow me to use both one pair of Android and PC buds at once. It would be an awesome feature.

This is a great remote control for my main menu. My system wouldn't turn on because it was not in full power mode. I had forgotten to set the timer for when my computer would go into sleep mode. So I will be downloading the Remote Play app to my laptop so that I can play video games on the go without having to turn on the TV.

Problems with the second screen option. It worked fine before, and I was already playing FO76. All I get now is the "Second Screen not in Use" message. It works fine and allows me to type messages. It doesn't work well on its own. If you can't access second screen capabilities, it is pretty useless. The app is up to date, as is PS4. I am annoyed that we only have one TV, and my husband sometimes needs it. It makes it difficult to play video games.

It was exactly as I expected. I was expecting to see more reviews, however this allows you to control your PlayStation using your smartphone just like a remote for a television. It can't be used to play any games, and you cannot view the screens. However it can interact with the games in some way that I haven't tried yet. This is an amazing app.

It is very useful in case your controller stops charging or you need to set up something. You can't use the console until you open any application or go to the side menu. It would be more sensible to mark the pad with the left analog, d-pad or both and then tap on X. It will work with all applications. You can also give us the ability to do this ourselves by putting it in the controller layout.

Although it's great, I am able to talk to and type with it. However, I don't think you can use this app to properly navigate the web or play media. Other than scrolling through the list to choose Netflix, YouTube and probs Disney+, I also had Hulu. All of these apps require that I use their app to control. This app wouldn't be useful if I didn’t have to adjust settings from time to time.

It doesn't let you enter anything on the second screen that is used to type. It won't open the keyboard. It doesn't work with my keyboard. I tried many things. All other functions work great. Instant connection, no lag and nothing like that.

My devices are not compatible with the app. My Galaxy S9 has the most recent app update for PS4 2nd screen. I can control and connect to the PS4 however, but cannot see any screen. Yes, there is no image or screen. It's a waste of time if I have to glance at my TV to check what my phone is doing. I have an iPhone SE. This can be connected to my PS4 so I can see the screen and use the control buttons without any issues. Problem is, I don't like my 4.5-inch screen and would rather have my larger S9.
