All was great, picture perfect and functionally tested. My alarm did not go off when a friend visited me. I double checked everything.The notifications/everything was on.That's when I discovered that the app closes on you and the camera goes into hibernation if you do not have the app opened and viewed. If your smartphone is locked, the camera will hibernate and stop registering any movement.

Intermittent disconnects, doesn't notify of movement, picks up sounds well but not very effectively, intrusive permissions (why is it necessary to have access to contact information? This persimmon is not required for the app to work. App crashed every time I tried to adjust the splash screen setting. It is a shame, because the app and camera work great together. It actually gives great clarity.

App crashes all the time. App keeps closing. I have to uninstall it and then reinstall. I paid for cloud storage, but after one month it was automatically cancelled. It won't allow me to renew. All storage on the cloud was lost to cancellation. I can't subscribe to a second camera. It's a waste of money, but if it worked the app would be amazing. App doesn't work, camera has great sound and video quality. Now I am pissed at the fact that my cloud storage has disappeared! !

The camera was used for 2 years. Having issues with the camera. It started flickering recently, but it now keeps telling me it's offline even though it is connected correctly. It was still offline after I had unplugged and replugged the camera. This is enough for me. I will now go to the local shop and get something else.

The cameras worked well for several months, with occasional drops from Wi-Fi. The last time the camera dropped from Wi-Fi, I was unable to connect for two days. It's difficult to reset and start over.

After the app launches, it displays a message saying that there have been some issues and they will be leaving. I have tried to contact the company but nothing has happened. This is all about being able to watch my animals and house while I'm away. I am very frustrated.

To date, I've had no issues. It's a great baby monitor that I love. I can keep an eye on my child while I go to college, grocery shopping or babysitting. It can both hear and speak to everything, which is incredible. The camera can be controlled to point at the target and move it accordingly. It's a great investment.

You can simply fix the app closing by viewing the camera/ECT. At LEAST you would have a functioning app. The webcam was not functional so I sent it back.

This app worked well for approximately a year. However, it crashed on me 10 seconds into using the app. The app crashes on me after 10 seconds. This is unacceptable!

It's not too late if you are reading this, the camera can be returned to Amazon. Amazing camera! The camera has amazing features and functions. However, the app that connects to the camera with its software is an absolute joke! In just two weeks, I've dealt with many problems. It's ridiculous! If a security camera doesn't perform as you have set, it's useless! Amazing hardware and BS software English grammar manuals are even funny! For a refund, send your camera back to Amazon

I tried to use this app with BlueStacks Android emulator for Windows 10, but it didn't work. BlueStacks crashed frequently and couldn't open SereneVeiwer. Although the app is functional on my tablet, I needed it to be compatible with my desktop. Opened a web browser, and I entered the IP address for the camera: 192.168.1.X. I was taken to the camera login page. Log in to uninstall a plugin. You can choose not to use the plugin, and then you will see live video. The prompt to use plugin can be disabled. Wow, this app is hated by so many. Strangely, the IP camera and the app have been very reliable for me. The app works flawlessly for me. The SereneLife IP cam model IPCAMHD30 is what I am using. Both the app and camera work together well. It's been in my possession for a few years and I have only ever had one minor problem with the software updates. This was quickly resolved. I don't know what cameras this app is used for. It was something I thought about purchasing. :)

Every time you attempt to view your camera, the app crashes. There are many issues with the app, including adding devices and trying to get wireless signals. If I had to, I'd give it a negative star.

It's a terrible app. I cannot access it. The app wants to manage and access my mobile phone calls, and also access my photos and media files. I don't believe this has anything to do with it. It's new, recorded material and it doesn't need to be managed.

After 10 seconds, the app closes automatically. For this reason, I purchased cloud. It's very frustrating that I cannot access it anywhere from my smartphone.
