CloudEdge provide a set of video service platform for family and enterprise.
It used to be an excellent app. However, it has become a nightmare to use. Sometimes I need to press play 10 times to get the video to start playing. You will get a message saying there isn't video, but you can continue to choose play and it will finally start playing the video. It will also start playing videos, but it may freeze for a few seconds. The device has gone from being decent to nearly useless.
The system can be hacked and newer updates make it worse. The camera can still work even if it is 5 feet away from the router. The model that I use only permits 10-30 seconds of motion detection and intervals for recording. That is absurd. Instead of one long file, I have a page of files and notifications. Although the cameras were a bit more expensive than I expected, the quality of the images is much better.
Meh. Meh. It would be helpful to have an idea of the battery life I currently have. This camera was used before with the exact same app. The camera wasn't great, but the app provided more details. It was oddly the same app. I assume that the manufacturer of the camera had some control and input into the decision to not provide any information or give the user more information.
Although the update was good, a valuable feature was removed. The ability to adjust the lighting on the 2k camera variant was added. The ability to see color without the lights was removed. The lights are still on when I am using one of the cameras indoors in an area with adequate lighting. This option should be reinstated. Also, I noticed a lot more motion of the camera when someone is standing directly in front of it. It seems as though it's still looking. It's improving overall.
The app's performance is sloppy and essentially inoperable. The camera does not pick up motion detection in many cases. Family members have walked right past it, and I received zero notifications. It works great when it does. It's becoming less useful. Cameras are useless without motion detection. These issues must be fixed by developers immediately.
The quality of the camera is decent and it works well .... The app is terrible. The app only works for about half the time. It only works about half the time. You can save time, money and frustration. Get a new system that doesn't run on this app. I would not recommend this app to anyone.
Although the camera works and video quality is excellent, I can only access the footage manually through the app. When motion occurs, I don't get notifications. While I was walking around the camera area (I have 2 connected), I did not receive any notifications and video wasn't recorded. This app is not able to help me. It has a strong wifi signal.
Multiple cameras are used on my property. I would purchase them if they use the CloudEdge app. I have been able to give five stars up until this point. It was amazing to have such dependability. It now crashes constantly. It crashes and shuts down every time I watch it live. C'MON GUYS!!! Get rid of the problem! If that is not enough, I still have a lot of paperweights.
Either the app or the camera. It takes forever for the Wifi to work and the Wifi strength is more than 90%. The device doesn't seem to pick up much movement. It is so bad that I will not be purchasing another camera until they fix it. This camera has the only feature I like, which is its solar power. It would be nice to have a setting that allows continuous recording. Update:. My phone is unable to connect to my camera after the June 2022 update.
The latest update has caused problems. Although the camera is not showing any alerts, I know there are recordings that can be accessed by going back to an alert from history. It is frustrating and takes up too much time. Safety reasons require that I be able access alerts as soon as possible.
The app will disconnect when it accepts a connection. It also fails to connect due to "weak signals". This is absurd considering everything is less than 10 feet away. The router. Because HD is almost impossible to work, I usually settle for SD.
It worked great for one year. It won't allow me to update to a newer version. The wifi location is set to low, even though it is right beside the router. Also, it says that the device has gone offline and won't allow me to see any content. Only thing that works is the bell. Fix the problem. You can also switch to Google and Ring cameras
Alighting app and a great camera. The video quality is excellent and lasts for a while. However, the app stopped notifying of my activity recently. Although I can check my history to see any new notifications, it didn't alert me when the activity occurred. It's still convenient to me, however, to check up on my dog.
UPDATE: The following issue has been resolved with ver. 4.3.2. OLD:App worked great after I installed it 2021. This was true up to June 2, 2022. This app crashes constantly at 4.3.1 It is very frustrating! When I try to view Live cameras, the app crashes. I also get an alarm notification during viewing. App crashes during viewing. Cloudedge crashed again after I uninstalled it and then reinstalled. I submitted a feedback to the Help, but received no response. This is what you need to do! It worked before.
Although not great, it is still a good option. Low battery notification is annoying enough that I uninstall it and then reinstall. My phone will turn off multiple times for every 1% below 10, or any percent above 10. The motion detection cameras are a joke. They only detect motion from the left, which is most of what the camera can see.

Now, you will be able to setup and run CloudEdge on your Computer via the emulator.
