Lorex Home App For Windows

Lorex App has been downloaded several times. I also have an outdoor flood camera. The app works, and it stops. It gives me a message: (Uh-oh! It seems that something went wrong. To retry, tap. It still does not work. It is connected to my WiFi and works fine. I am not happy about the operation of the camera.

When I attempt to setup my video doorbell, the error message "Failed setting password. Please retry" appears. The problem persists even though I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and rebooted the application. The video doorbell will not work if the app isn't running. Update: I reached out to tech support, and they were able after many complicated steps to make it work. The app doesn't seem to work well and is very slow. It's a complete waste of your time. It is impossible to return it.

Cameras work great. When I try to view a clip, or to stop recording, the error message says that app has stopped. There are only two options: close or wait. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to provide feedback. It has been going for quite some time. All cameras have been restarted. It's frustrating. I can see live perfectly. This is what I am trying to say. If I record a clip live. The issue is when I click on the box at the bottom of the recording after it has ended.

Reasonable. The basic functions are covered with sufficient options for configuration. It is difficult to look through the timeline. It would be great if you could go through all the footage. You can't fast-forward to see something. The video loads each time you scroll through it. It's a pain. It's so annoying that I can sit down and just watch the 30 minutes of video, rather than bouncing through clips.

It was easy to set up and control the cameras. It's nice not to have to subscribe. This is not some buggy Chinese program that a company spent bottom dollar for. One thing I find frustrating is that I cannot keep my last video. They just disappear unless I save them. It would be nice to have a method of preventing recording by using scheduling and location, as well as notifications. Finally, remote backup should be possible for any queue videos.

The app wasn't working properly at the beginning of setting it up. It was thought that the handyman had installed it incorrectly and spent 2 more hours getting it to work. It cost me an extra $150 to get it installed because the app wasn't working properly. It took several days to set it up and many phone calls before I was able to finally get it working. It works now.

The app overall is good and the NVR seems quite decent. However, settings for motion detection on both the NVR and app do not match well. Geo fencing (home and away) would be awesome if it worked. My old system was replaced with a newer system. The specifications state that the system can distinguish between cars and people and will allow for less notifications. However, I'm still not able find the details.

Not able to open messages. Every time there is an error code. You can rewind your live feed to see the most recent events. Wait for the timeline to load and then you will be able to see the latest events. There is no way to stop sound recording. There is no way to turn off night vision. These features !!!!) are available on cheap chinese camera from Amazon. It is easy for siren and light to be accidentally turned on. Do not put your phone down while you are using an app.

Although this app is not the greatest, it was able to view and edit my camera footage. It now shows that my cameras are offline, even though I am certain they're online. Since 5/24, they have been offline. This is definitely an app problem and I must be able view the cameras I have paid so much for. Lorex updated: The recorder I have is wired using an ethernet cable. This isn't a network problem. It's an app problem.

It is basically worthless. It is difficult to scroll through the clips, and they are only seconds in length. Arlo works much better, but both the Arlo camera and plan are terrible. You don't have enough time to view the entire event because of the settings. When something occurs during an event, the camera will always want to reload. It is difficult to navigate the Timeline and it can be very frustrating. It would be reasonable to expect developers to look at other apps in order find better ways.

It's not bad, but it could be easier to have all the sensors set to one mode instead of each sensor being activated individually. You might want to know more about camera settings. For example, person sense triggers the light but not the motion-only setting. In situations such as mine, where sensors keep disconnecting, a troubleshooting guide might be helpful.

My cameras are not visible. This is the exact same problem error after error. My phone keeps crashing. I delete apps and then download the same. The quality of your photos went way down! All those photos were too much! If it fails, don't create more. Make sure you fix the first. Do not buy the product if there are other buyers. Lorex was great, I'm not sure what went wrong. I won't leave any nice reviews until they correct their system of errors. !

This is a good app. High quality cameras. One thing that I wish was available is the ability to quickly forward while reviewing video footage. Vivint also offers an option that allows you to see the actual video while fast-forwarding or going backwards. It was very convenient, but it wasn't the best customer service and cameras.

The typical customer blame response is unacceptable. All my cameras have been wired by an engineer. While I can see the app on my laptop, the problem with wireless devices is that even though the connection is strong inside the home, it does not work. Please explain again your slow app. It doesn't display events and won't play current events when you click a motion notification. I also get redirected to the previous half hour mark every time I attempt to access events from the timeline.

Issue. Clicking on event notification causes an error. Clicking the button takes me to the view where I can review the event. The view responds to pinch/zoom as a back-action and closes the event. This is something I keep seeing. You will need to close the app and reopen it to find the event, then review the details again. Bummer. You will notice that the pinch/zoom function works correctly when you enter this manner. Reduced. Lorex canned response
