This app is not worth your time. The interface is terrible, there are tons of ads, and the app feels more like Next City than Nextdoor. Even after changing your feed preferences or following neighborhoods, it still looks awful. Google's meddling seems to make things worse. I was able to select General, Lost and found, or Safety categories to get around some of this garbage, but after an update, I cannot do that anymore. This app has been my favorite for many years. As an introvert I avoid leaving my bubble. Nextdoor's strict guidelines regarding safety, kindness and accuracy have allowed me to know almost everyone on my street and the things that make them tick, even though I have never met them. The interface is simple and reminiscent of old neighborhood watch programs. The experience overall is excellent with only minor glitches.

This app is used to share things that I don't need anymore so there are a lot more direct messages. Although I like this feature it is frustrating when trying to delete messages. Please improve the user interface by making it possible to choose multiple messages from a list and then delete them in one go.

Nextdoor staff informed me that buttons to select categories no longer exist. Instead, you can type "lost and Found" into the search bar. It will bring up relevant posts. There is one problem: none of these posts appear in the correct order. It is impossible to search the Nextdoor app just for one item, such as lost dogs. This must be fixed.

This app is good for chatting, event notification and selling/giving stuff to your neighborhood. It would be much better for them to stop limiting the number of ads that they could insert. Too many animations, scripts, and other unnecessary enhancements are causing the app to slow down. A browser with an ad blocking feature is a bit friendlier. To ensure you only receive the information you desire, make sure to go to Settings and set your notifications.

App freezes when trying to change accounts. I can't create posts on my company page. Fix it. Thank you for your suggestions. Didn't work. The app wouldn't work. I tried again, but the same problem. When I attempt to create a post for business, it redirects me to the page where I tried to upload pictures.

Your 4.2.9 version is just plain buggy. App drops randomly. The worst part is when notifications are enabled. Notifications can also take you to different locations in the thread. Notifications no longer take you to the event. Sometimes, hidden responses won't work. It's a mess. This is a mess.

It might be a great app, but I don't think so. The postcard doesn't arrive and the app does not do anything else. Finally, I was able to confirm my location. The app works well. Although it is a little clunky because of the privacy concerns they will have to address, overall I think the app works well. The only UI problem I would like to see fixed is the very slow scrolling, which resets the user at the top of each page. It's very frustrating.

The problem seems to be getting worse. It's almost like the yellow page home tab, and it is nearly impossible to browse my neighborhood. All notifications seem irrelevant or from distant people so I have had to disable them. There's no dark mode, and it makes the app extremely difficult to use. Every single feature in this app that is appealing to me keeps being nitched or eliminated.

Great idea but poorly executed. The UI is inconsistent. You may be able access your personal account by switching to your business account. Advertisement promotional pages are a constant nuisance. Update: I tried the web-based version. The web version is even worse than that of the app. It can cause a lot of lag and/or freezing when you try to access the news feed. It is almost impossible to use the web version.

It was easier and simpler to use this app. It's now messy. When I try to get to my business page to place or post an ad I am redirected to the "switch accounts" screen. After waiting...wait...wait for forever everything locks up. I had to turn off my phone and then restart it. Another hassle is trying to get to the contact page for cs. This takes you away from the app and redirects to the internet to login again. It's not worth it.

I am Uninstalling. I reside in densely populated areas. Only the areas that are most relevant to me were selected. The app shows me only what I choose to see, and then adds neighborhoods that are miles from my location. I don't have the ability to delete these. It also shows me national-level posts. It is useless and serves no purpose.

It is easy and straightforward to create a business advertisement. It is a bit confusing about the payment system. It states that ads posted by business pages will cost $X per day. You will be charged $X per day for the ad. However, this is a one-time payment that you pay at the beginning of each month. A description for a "created ad" is $/day with the option to "pause spending". This makes it appear that it's a daily fee when in fact it isn't.

All functionality seems to be gone with the May "update". All the functionality of Nextdoor has been removed. At this moment, it is practically useless. It is very, very disappointing. There is very little left, except for the ability to post. It was designed to connect neighbors. This is the only way I know how to do it.

It made searching and browsing for posts extremely painful. It's impossible to sort or search for dates in any way I have found. Posts are displayed in random order, whether browsing or searching. It means that posts from the past are often overshadowed by those older than a few months. This is absurd.
