Adobe Scan: PDF Scanner, OCR for PC

This scanner isn't as annoying or intrusive than other scan apps that I have tried. You have many options to edit your scans. This app is also great for scanning artwork. This app is what I use to scan the b&w drawings I make so that I can color them digitally. Anyone looking to scan images would be well served by this app.

This rating is something I don't normally do, but it was necessary. There were some important documents and photos that I needed to scan and email. My office scanner wouldn't turn on and there were over 60 pages of text and images that I needed to email as PDF. Although I knew I had the app installed on my smartphone, I hadn't used it. It was so easy and stress-free that I went straight to it. Clear and clear scans of the docu. Good job!!! It's great! !

Impressive. It was easy to transform a very crumpled document into something beautiful in just a few mouse clicks. This is definitely an improvement on Google Docs when it comes to image manipulation and capture. While I have been a long-time user of Adobe desktop products, my experience with the mobile apps was mixed. However, in this instance I was very happy with the user-friendly interface and clear features.

The app exceeded my expectations. The app is easy to use and the scan quality is excellent. I also like the ease of sending each saved scan via email. It is also very convenient to scan several pages and convert them into one PDF. After trying a lot of scan programs, I finally found the one that I needed. It is fast and it works well. Only scanner/PDF maker that does not require you to pay for watermark removal! I'm satisfied with the 5 star rating. It could use some improvement in corner/edge detection. I have had to manually adjust corners when taking a photo of white documents on black backgrounds with ideal lighting. However, I don't mind getting a free app from an established software company.

This was a great tool for my classes. When tax season arrived, my wife and I had to scan 29 pages. It was difficult with our printers. The app was handy and I found it. I just had to take pictures of each page, then send the pdf. Converting file types is much simpler than using a scanner/printer. It was easy.

It crashes every couple of minutes, needs to be restarted, sometimes deletes pages and replaces them with duplicates (almost all scans), replaces some pages with blank pages, occasionally deletes scans, slows down taking photos, and also randomly deletes scans. It's a nice app design, and it might work if it did. But it is just so buggy that it makes it impossible to use. Maybe it's my phone.

Few apps allow you to take a picture from a document and make it look like a scan. It is by far the most popular one on this small market. There are a few things it does not have that could make this 5 stars. 2. the ability to save automatically to your cloud storage choice (One, Google or Drop). 2. You could choose your editing settings, such as grey scale and color. A windows desktop application would also be great.

WARNING: No longer free! The scanner does a good job, sometimes with manual adjustments. I love the software and use it when I have to scan documents and send them to my email. It's much more user-friendly than traditional scanners. However, it is not worth the subscription fees compared to other scanners. Although it works, there are many alternatives, such as Microsoft Office Lens. They're almost identical and all free.

It's very useful and a must-have app. It's very slow to scan documents using a flatbed scanner. This app was the best I found. The app is amazing: it takes a picture of the page and it then processes it. You can save or continue it as PDF. Brilliant.
